I'm not sure if it really is supposed to start with kun. The double hyphen throws me off.

Yep, it's meant to start with the hypen.

I'll try and leave the punctuation alone for the most part - the Tl knows the context in which things are said better than I do. But it's strange that some "..."s have two of four periods, although it might actually denote longer or shorter pauses. I'm also assuming that all the text will be capitalized, so I won't correct that.

When the ... are longer or shorter it means that there were more or less ...s. I left the punctuation off the parts which aren't in a bubble since it doesn't seem right having a full stop when the person is thinking. Other parts where I left the full stop off were when the sentence carries on into the next bubble.
