<The story so far>

on the chinese volumes it's 0. Cos it's 'mo fa ling dan', meaning 'zero magic'. The Japanese title, however, writes it as O.
interchangeable i guess.

according to wiki, it's M0(zero)... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%970#Magic_plates

well for some fonts, O and 0 looks alike so i guess it doesnt really matter...
