I really felt for both Kokoa and Kurumu this chapter.

I just noticed on a page that she and Tsukune are playing on an old console! WTF?! For god's sake, someone give her a PS3 so they can play some Killzone 2! Or, why not an XBox 360 so they can play Gears of War 2 Co-op?! Or, for either console, some Call of Duty World at War Co-Op?!

Shortly can make a bet for that there arent a single episode which focuses completely to his training. Its more like they make short time leaps past exercises and focuse on their free time.

Gief Super Nintendo. Tsukune smashing Super Metroid and Super Castlevania would be a priceless sight ^^

For those who dislike just waiting and have even slight bit of confidence in their ability to understand spoken japanese, download list of Hiraganas and Katakanas. I did it and when raws pop out, I translate them bit by bit. Even though its not accurate, it is fun.

you know oodly enough i think this is the chapter Kurumu finds out that tsukune loves only Moka, I mean she cries way too much for it to be anything else. Also the way it seems after that seems more I dunno motherly. More like "I still love you, but I'm not going to push you" sort of thing.

Well.. my bet would go to that she though her hypnotism had died out already when Tsukune did that all stuff, and when he started to go robotic, she figured out that he was still charmed.

A bit of a 'filler' chapter, but Kurumu is my favourite girl so I'm happy all the same.

I think so too. Though in start there was some confirmation that Tsukune is getting stronger, rest of the chapter was definetly a filler. Nevertheless I liked this chapter. Kurumu got some completely separate time with Tsukune and afterwards it seems that Tsukune got more concious of Kurumu.

Thanks for the scanlation guys! Definatly appreciate all the pain in the ass work of translating Japanese to English! This chapter did seem like a filler, a somewhat pointless one at that, but on the other hand at least we have a bit more on Kurumu's deep thoughts and feelings. And I can't help but commend Kurumu for showing alot of restraint and vowing to win Tsukune through true and honest methods. I just *REALLY* hope that these intentions hold when Tsukune decides that he wants to be with Moka, and that she doesn't lash out at the both of them or even resorting to use her succubus abilities once again to get Tsukune. All in all, Kurumu is definatly nicer in the Manga than in the Anime, since in the Anime she's a real bitch.

Technically speaking Dracula had this technique in BSD (Bram Stoker's Dracula) but didnt abuse it, Kokoa's surprise is a sign of naivette in my opinion, I mean really if a vampire can charm a people or two a succubus can charm 10 to 20 man with no problem, I mean succubus are beings of Lust and seduction

And just a sidenote, Sucubus have always been females in myth, their males were the incubus, it would be interesting if Kurumu met a incubus

I've always had that thought in the back of my head, that if Kurumu would go with some other guy it would most likely be an Incubus. But maybe as an intresting twist Kurumu would back out since it would be forbidden for a succubus and Incubus to go together. Maybe that's not the case for R+V, but I am hoping an Incubus is introduced in the series later. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to hear that in the R+V universe vampires can also lure their human victims through a hypnosis like technique. In most legends as well as some Manga and Anime vampires have a limited mind controling technique. I have seen Karin's Brother in the Karin anime/manga series use this on some of his female victims (That self centered, arrogant POS).

Maybe I'm over analyzing here, but I noticed something on Page 27 of the scanlation. When Kurumu was facing away from the viewer (And you could almost see up her skirt. heh.), her head turned a bit towards the viewer, and she said "Would you like to eat some food? Would you like to enter the bath?" Then she winks and says (though she kinda stuttered a little) O....or me?" When I saw that, I couldn't help but remember this as well:

Her little 'lure' seemed to have been a nod to the 1950s, and if it was it was quite old fashioned of her. In fact, earlier in the manga (Page 11) she was trying to come up with more 'sexier' ways to lure Tsukune and she rehearsed the line to herself. And beneath that dialogue bubble was a box that said "Old Fashioned". Then again maybe I'm overanalyzing and it's just merely coincidential.

I dont know if its connected to that specific picture, but its deffinitly an old saying. Kurumo is rather interesting due to the contradictions in her character. A pure, innocent and oldfashioned succubus in love. For her so was her flirt line rather advanced even! She is usualy on the basic physical level of pushing her body against Tsukune or hitting the other girls with her fists.

I think she's so inexperienced in relationships she doesn't know exactly how to lure a potential love interest. It's funny the way she tries to use old fashioned tactics, especially since she's a succubus, and that she realizes that they aren't working. I think she seem to be using too much 'aggressive' sex appeal, like using her breasts too much. In fact, I think she focuses too much on her breast size for her beauty. In fact, she's really a pretty (and cute) girl herself, and she should focus on herself. Basically her own beauty and her unique qualities. And no, I don't mean her oversized breats. But all in all, I really think she should focus on going after another "Mr. Right". No matter what, I don't think Tsukune will be letting go of Moka's heart and go to any of the other girls.
