gametap is a website were you can dowload a special player and they have a free games section were you can play free games and most of them are fighting games right now because it's Summer Brawl like street fighters, samurai showdown,king of fighters and more. But if you become a gold member you can play better games. to become a gold member you need to pay a monthly subscription. You can play games like hitman, tomb raiders overlord and more.

You should also visit gamehippo, that's an amazing site where you can download over 1000 freeware games! You should try "Jumper Two", it's a totally addicting game. It takes a lot of skill and practice, but it's great! xD

Yay a game topic, I'm a game junkie, along with being a music junkie, manga/anime junkie, school nerd, and so much other types of junkies (and no, I am NOT a fat person)

Me, I'm a fan of RPGs/Action/Hack and Slash games. Currently on the top of my mind is God of War, love those awesome swingy slashing moves.

But right now im stuck on online games (Counter Strike and Maplestory[such a kiddy game...but i "cheat" in the game hehe...])

I play 1.6. And yeah....it may be pretty old but it's considered one of the most popular games of all time, with over 1 million players. And so many mods, maps, etc. that keep it entertaining. But I don't play it that much anymore. It's kinda like my waste-2-hours-a-day thing.

Yeah fighting games gets boring sometimes... but only when you always win. I'm not a violent person, I like the combos and how you react to your oponent's attack. I think it's a good memory training thing. I just don't understant why I suck at Simon that much:D. Must mean that my theory sucks too:p. I pretty much like skateboarding/BMX/Bike/snowboard games for the same reasons. My fav serie must be the SSX. Is playing SSX Blur on Wii right now :o.

Rpg's amd 2d-sidescrollers all the way. Super mario world like is my all time favorite game ever. Also if you got a Wii or what not, Actraiser for the snes is like pretty fun, and you play as god ^_^. i loke some fighters to like Street fighter duh, the gekitou ninja taisen games (i imported 4 same with battle stadium D.O.N.), and Smash bros melee are all like up there as well

Dirge wasn't that bad it was a lot like Devil May Cry so if you like that you should like Dirge.
I'm hopeing Crisis Core is going to be good. I haven't got to play it yet as I'm waiting for the USA release. Theres nothing worse then playing a plot heavy game and not knowing what the hell is going on.

lol ya, The only games i've imported are Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4, and Battle stadium D.O.N. Both with are pure fighters, so like being able to read the Hiragana And Katakana is usually enough to be able to decifer what i need to do for missions if i do happen to play it one player.

The only Japanese games I've imported were one of the Naruto fighters and one of The Prince Of Tennis games as they were pretty simple to figure out what to do and I already knew what the plot was anyways.

The Bleach Fighter for Wii, is being released here soon, and i think ill get that. I probably would have Imported that maybe a couple others, but Wii doesnt have a regional encoding bypass thing yet.

oh man the FF Advent Children was an awsome movie. im not a fan of final fantasy games, actually i despise those games with a passion, but the fighting scenes in that movie was crazy.

Yeah the Bleach fighter does indeed look really good though it might be a little tiring if you need to swing your arms about to attack.

Think of it as exercise, put a 10-15 pound weight onto the wiimote, and you've got yourself a fun workout xD.

Don't suck? xD jk. Depends on who your using, and who your good with. Guile for example, set up a flash kick if he does his flaming charge at you (if you have time). And he jumps alot so getting right below him when he jumps and mid air should grab backbreaking move is good.

I've played Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, but I've yet to playthe GBA.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will come out on Ps 3 T_T. Which I don't own and is too expensive for me to own T_T

And I've only played DMC 3 special Edittion...

lol, Still don't know why anyone would buy the ps3 right now except for the blu ray player part, Cuz i don't think any good games for it yet and its super expensive. Although i Heard a 40 gig (or maybe its 20) its coming out (its normally 80gig im pretty sure) and it will be a bit cheaper 400$ instead of 600$ but that still to much for me at least, well at least not while there no good games to give incentive to get it.

As for games Resistance is a really fun game espically the driving levels. I'm also just brought the Dynasty Warriors Gundam game for it which looks to be a lot of fun.

What I really want is a reallt decent RPG they are pretty thin on the ground. There are some good ones out at the moment but none that have really gripped me like Wild Arms, Final 7 and Suikoden did back in the day.

Have you seen the Devil May Cry anime it's not bad but it could have been so much better.

Another game I love to death is Catlevania: Symphany Of The Night. I really enjoy the RPG elemnets in the game and Alucard is so very cool.

But ya when my friend got Budokai Tenkaichi for his ps2 i sucked majot at it, but when i got number 2 for my wii and played and practiced it got pretty good at it. Same with the games in the arcade, i didn'y get a 100k pacman score fast, i had to play a lot of times till i started to kinda figure out how, and predict where the ghosts will go. (*luck also helps lol)

wow conter-strike is old. i use to play at the competetive level (cal league), but everyone i played with slowly stopped so i did too.

btw duowolf, i suck at third person shooters as well, but gears of was is just too damn awsome to pass on it. chainsawing and sticking granades to enemies is the best part of the game.

I've been getting into DS games lately. I'm currently playing Digimon World: Dusk which I'm really enjoying, but I have to say Rune Factory is on the top of my list. You get to grow crops and kick monster ass at the same time.

They are action RPGs that play as if you are playing an online game. So you can log out and check e-mail and things like that. I just finished the last volume of the second set of .hack games and it really was a lot of fun.

And ya its like one of thier big selling points is the no monthly fees, and some of the things in the game are better than WoW (not my subjective opinion i tiold my firend about htem and he said that that was pro and he wished wow did that)


But bassically wow is so big now that it self advertises it self so not as many people know about guild wars i think or what its like. And obviously WoW will have some sort of better things or else why would people play it over guild also.

(and WoW has some sort of hypnotic drug in it lol, my friend got sucked into pretty fast, but he ran out of money to pay for it so hes safe now xD)

<<< ex-mmorpger right here. I played WoW for over two years, and GW for about 4-5 months. the two games are very different.

WoW is a raiding-based game...basically if you want to succeed there...the game becomes your life. but...you can play this game anyway you want...pvp'r, pve'r, farmer, etc...just about something for everyone to be interested in.

GW on the other hand, is still group based, but no raids. the game isn't designed for solo'ing and all pvp is based on guilds. great game if you have a group of friends that are online at the exact same times you are...kinda sucks for everyone else..haha

what will be interesting to see is when WAR comes out next spring and challenges WoW as the bigges mmorpg out there.

i have a huge list, i made it one time, its gone now.
classic games (begining with NES) hold a huge place in my gaming heart.
there were a few of us "enthusiests" in my highschool we traded games, looked for rare ones ect ect. it was exciting i guess. anyway its to big of a list for me to put down right now, but pretty much name any classic rpg and i will have played it and loved it (probably loved it lol). thats not to say i dont like new ones ^^ but its not as easy to put a finger on.

Kinda hard, I like all the games I have.
But my favorite would be these because thay have a good story IMO: Devil May Cry 3, Halo 1-3, Oblivion and Mass Effect.

I love kicking butt as Sun Shang Xiang, or with my Custom Team of Sandy, AJ, Kyoko and Xena (in Dynasty Warriors 5 Extreme Legends)

Happiest moment was when I imported My team from Extreme Legends into Dynasty Warriors Empires, and had AJ lead my team and became the absolute ruler of China. (AJ beat Lu Bu down YAY!)

I also played alot of pokemon games blehhhhhhhhh was waste of time even played in a small tournie and got 4th place.....lost accidently by pushing the wrong button...(pokemon sapphire) after that never touched the game or any other pokemon crap again.

I find them now crap...but when a year ago i was still playing them.
i played red, yellow, silver, fire red, pokemon pinbal, sapphire and ruby.
Ye they pwned...but nvm anymore. and the games were easy if you have 4 lvl 100 pokemon and 5 in the 90-99 + deoxis it was like 1 hit ko to all pokemon in the game........thats just boring. Thats wy i never touched it again.

LOL yeah well even with the FF i ended up over leveling my chars to where the fights became a joke... oh well i usually end up maxing out my characters levels so its to be expected at least the story behind the FF games is worth playing even if you have over leveled characters... unlike pokemon... but thats imho.

none of you played diamond/pearl, with the wi-fi and stuff or something. its a pretty deep and technical game, if you actually proper train, for good stats using EV's / IV's and what not.

but enough of pokemon lol.

i know what your saying about overleveling stuff and being to easy, its kinda boring, but the storlyine in FF games are still amazing.

FFVII still has Ruby/Emerald weapon that you need more than just high level chars but actually strategy and good materia setups. (unlike sepiroth w-summon --> KOtRT lol)

Try Radiata Stories it's a great game with two different plot

you can choose to fight with the human or fight with the fairy creatures....

Side scrollers: My favorite genre actually, its a hard choice between alot of games, but one that I can think of from the top of my mind is Super Metroid.

Strategy: Final Fantasy tactics.

Simulations: Sim Ant.

Favorite game: Xenogears, second being Super Metroid.

Looking forward to: Duke Nukem forever (for nine to ten damn years, I still believe its gonna be released some time soon).
