Skip Beat Anime Episode 14

Hey, check it out! And it's already subbed! (Which, of course, makes me doubt the quality of the subs, but hey, even a pretend sub of Skip Beat is better than no Skip Beat at all!)

Just so you know, those are the crunchy roll subs. Some group is ripping them off Crunchy and uploading them, which I assume is where the you-tube people got them. They're being removed, so watch 'em now I suppose.

Actually, someone is still releasing raws too, so it's possible to get those even with licensing (though those subs come out sooner than the raws.)

Its amazing how crunchy roll seems to be getting the anime taken off because the producers asked to so its really strange why they don't take it off youtube.

"Youtube broadcast yourself, not our stuff" that should be the official slogan for the anime sites.

i loved this episode, i would have liked to see more of the maria and Ren scene though....i personally thought that the whole ending of the episode was a little rushed. lol i loved it anyway though

and i cant wait for the manager arc!!! :twinkle:

I agree... Seriously, 14 was a very good episode, and I liked it a lot, but after the audition was done, I was mostly all: "Yay! Substitute Manager Arc! Substitute Manager Arc! Substitute Manager Arc!" I've been really wanting for them to get to that story arc, 'cause it's the first time we get to see a lot of Kyoko and Ren really interacting other than just in passing at the agency. I mean, yes, there was when she broke her ankle and all... But this is more one on one and....*Sigh* I'm rambling. I need to stop now. Let just stop with I'm really looking forward to the next few episodes...

BTW I LOVED Ren's reaction when Maria told him that she knew Kyoko from the actors training school.
There could have been more with him around tho... They really shortend that part and cut/moved the foreshadowing of Yashiro getting sick.

I was sad I didn't get to see Kyoko shaking hands with her school uniform. Other that, the only thing I didn't like them cutting was Maria's and the president's reaction to Kyoko not going to highschool. I thought that would be important as a prelude to the president getting her into school (plus i just loved Maria's reaction).

The laughs during the routine could have been better.

Great episode though!

I thought how they handled Moko's voice overs while realizing she liked Kyoko was done well. Also I never got from the manga that she never realized she finished eating the icecream. I liked how it was done in the anime.

I REALLY REALLY loved the episode, I've watched it about 4 times now subbed and 2 times raw. XP To be honest, I completely forgot about the substitute manager arc until just recently! I was really looking forward to Kyoko and Moko acting together! (Am I the ONLY ONE who really enjoys watching the Love Me pair's bond grow stronger!?)

Tow be honested, I actually thought the laughs were great! I love how Moko says "Mo" right in the middle of her laughing, like "Oh dear, I can't help but laugh" The laughing was very pleasant, and even now I laugh along and smile! x) Thinking about it makes me laugh! XDD Maybe I'm just too addicted to Skip Beat...ugh...I need to start doing something productive. lol! I'm satisfied with this episode and would be very sad if it was changed.

Oh ya, did anyone think that Moko's screaming reaction to Kyoko falling asleep so fast was funny? I mean, u could barely understand what she was saying! One second she was pondering something, the next she was yelling! XDD lol! Loved it! It was so cute! X) This has been marked as one of my faves XP

OK! So now that this arc is over, I am SERIOUSLY looking forward to some RenXKyoko action! YAY! ^^

this episode made me rewind a lot...
I just loved it and it made me laugh a lot yeah!! especially the part where moko is all flustered with the drink... so cute how she goes all "nani nani nani??!!" I loved it!!! and the preview kyaaa!!! I so want to see that episode <3
I agree though, they cut out a lot but I guess the way it is now is fine, to me anyway, they sure want to make some sort of pairing so it seems ok that they rushed it... but I really hope they include the "Ren eith the flu" part because it was adorable in the manga and it made Ren realize Kyoko was a good person =) yay!

I wasn't that disappointed by the bits that were cut out, though the stalking part did start and finish too abruptly for my liking. Nah, I can't wait to see the RenxKyoko interactions in the next ch. The temporary Manager arc is like one of my favs too, along with the karuizawa arc! Can't wait for the next episode!

at last, the resolution of this arc. Finally made me satisfied watching it! Cliffhangers are bad for my heart.

I second greenglowingoo's opinion above - the scene where she sadly parts with the uniform seems more poignant in the manga... where Lory sees the pain Kyoko carries in her heart.
