well, we all know and love skip beat, but Nakamura's other mangas are pretty good too, I've read what's on mangafox for Blue Wars (http://www.mangafox.com/page/manga/series/4044/blue_wars/), MVP Wa Yuzurenai (http://www.mangafox.com/page/manga/series/631/mvp_wa_yuzurenai/), Tokyo Crazy Paradise (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Crazy_Paradise), and her latest one-shot manga, Dramatic Love Album (http://www.mangafox.com/page/manga/series/1150/dramatic_love_album/)

I'd just thought it'd be nice to talk about her other mangas and compare the style and how she's improved with each manga, or just whether or not you like her other mangas. For everyone who likes skip beat, I would recommend for you guys to read every manga that Yoshiki Nakamura wrote, because she always does a great job. ^^

The artwork is the most obvious example of how shes improved. I am ashamed to say I havent read Tokyo Crazy Paradise because when I first picked it up it seemed too messy (which could have been amplified due to the quality of the scans though I don't remember), but i don't have the time to be hooked now even though i want to read it :(. I guess i liked the story for dramatic love album, the way the female character stands out like kyoko etc.

Although i don't like the shounen-ai genre, I think blue wars does have its own charm. The main guy is so feminine but tough, it sorta makes him a little likeable...

I guess her artwork now is better because the guys, for example ren, now look subtly more handsome than at the start (a big bonus:)), i guess thats from drawing him all the time as well as his character developing as the story flows.

I loved Blue Wars! ( I just wish that mangafox had all of the chapter. >.<) I usually don't like shounen-ai that much, but in this case, it's so sweet, but at the same time it's funny, I love how they have to wear disguises to hide the fact that they tend their flowers. ^^

Lol yea! Its a shame they don't scanlate the manga more often... how many volumes was the manga, i think it has been completed hasn't it.

there's two volumes, but it looks like they stopped scanlating it two years ago. >.< I like Blue Wars over MVP cause MVP is a little mushier than what I would expect from Nakamura, but all in all, it's a good manga too, but my two favorites of Nakamura's is of course, TCP, and Skip BEat. ^^

!!SPOILER FOR TCP!!

I definietly loved the fight scene with the monster lady person...ugh can't remember her name, but she fights with her hair, lol. I thought, it was amazing and how cool Tsukasa looked fighting her! :ganbaree:

I like so much the manga's created by Nakamura sensei. She's such a good story teller and her art is really good. Amongst her works, I love Skip Beat the most and followed by TCP. Her works have all the genres of a story: drama, mystery, love, action, and most of all comedy. Reading her work lets you anticipate what's gonna happen next; lets your tears drop; fall in love and most of all lets you laugh 'till you drop. Also, she creates wonderful characters in her stories. The girls are tough and are not pathetic. They stand on their own feet and remain in control even for tough situations. Also, the guys are really cool too; not only the artwork but the overall character itself (including the personality, background, etc.)

I have both the volumes of Blue Wars. :) I love looking at them since I'm not good enough to know what they're actually saying! XD

But if I were to scan them up onto the internet, do you think I would be able to put them out there so someone can translate?

Well I know that condensation was translating it a while back. Maybe you could contact them and give them the scans? I'd love to read the rest of Blue Wars.
Heres their homepage:

I love Nakamura sensei works too.I've started with TCP (so funny!!)Love the way she draw the girls with strong emotion. Then of course Skip Beat ( but following the series is like having heart attack!Every new chapter makes you so excited and can't wait for the next and then the dreadfull wait....) The Dramatic love album, short but sweet..
But i have yet to read blue wars or mvp....

I started when Nakamura Sensei debuted with MVP (short story). I think overall I love Skip Beat the most (because of Ren and Kyoko), then it is MVP, BlueWar and then TCP.
