Well, where do I being, Since I do prefer anime over manga most of the time...
We left of in Season 1 chapter 13 of the anime, with a Major Event,
Tsukune is going to be burn at the stake, Moka in jail....etc..etc
Then the girls join forces, to free Tsukune (fight the system), and make a run
for it...until the head leader, just about kills Tsukune,... then inner Moka
(Vampire) has to give Tsukune some of her blood, to kept him from dying...
Then the Big Fight, wham, its over,...everyone to the nurses station to get patch up,
then almost the big Kiss for Tsukune with Moka. (almost).
So, as I see it, there was allot of emotions running very high, in the last chapter of season 1, and Tsukune for a brief moment was a micro vampire (strength).
Now Season 2 chapter 1 of the anime....
I said to myself as watching...please not the crash into Tsukune with bike trick..
yup!, sure enough.. Wham... of course Tsukune has to "squeak the charmin" on this girl.. and she gives him a lick, and a kick..
I like the manga take on this better..for the intro of Moka sister.
Next, its like they all forgot about over the summer, what happen last season... duh!
Now, we see, there a fan club for the girls... okay,
WHAT's With the Bats!!!
Please, Get Rid of the Bats around the girls panties... its just Stupid.
Now, we see Moka and Tsukune, talking... and she gets, what appears to be death threat of sorts, "I was watching the Raw" version.. and she gets a little scared,
Then More Bats.... and more Bats.. then some more notes, from the killer,
then, two monster go nutz in the gym hall, that because they are fighting Moka sister, whom Moka can't see as of yet.. of course, the Monster start to get out of hand, and Tsukune fall on Moka, pulls of cross, then super vampire moka, kicks butt, and puts on a demo for the school, as home coming queen.
And the girls have a Fan Club now, they just Love Vamp Moka!, and SO do those two big Monster,
that Moka trashed.. Then Finally we come to the end where Moka, meets her little sister... again I was watching the Raw.
All of this for that...please that is too much of a stretch...
Let me explain, season 1 last chapter 13 anime... it has Darkness, Love, Hatred, Friendship, and Possible Death, Destruction, all or nothing, self sacrifice...
it had all the emotions for a TV Drama Show.
season 2 chapter 1 anime, look like kiddy land, with Bats, because...we never seen panties before...okay!..duh?, goofy, no substance, no slam, like know one knew what happen last school year...please!
I'm wondering, if the same director is making the anime, because I really was hoping for something MUCH MUCH more than this... was looking for a Slam Dunk.. a wake up from what 4-5 months of waiting for the new season to start.., a pick up from something from last year in school, that would tie into this year.. Something.
Sorry, to say.. nope, to me the first chapter is a dud.
I give it a C- :Nooooooo:
PS: there a New Song and Dance for the ending, okay... still have not decided,
if I like the old one better, or not.
PSS: I hope the next chapter in Season 2 anime is MUCH better than the first...
