Thank you Hack!!

I installed a Hack where users thank you's to scanlators/translators is noted. But i just went to MH and saw that they also have it installed.

This sucks big time!!! I guess it is bye bye to the thank you hack!!!:bad bad:

oh, it doesn't matter if MH already have it. It's a good idea an of course people would want to use it. It's easy for people to say thank you and that gives the scanlator/translator/raw proveider more motivation to do better jobs. :Jump_Roll:

Since this is a rather young manga forum I think that being on par with MH is a pretty good thing :p. Keep up the good work Venicia. You're doing a nice job with this site ^^

I am glad you guys didnt go with this. i really like uniqueness and dont want to see similarities galore.

Well I think it would be a great addition to FH... Maybe a title comming along with it...not just with the number of posts. Encourage people to thank those who worked hard on those chapters^^.

Ya just because MH has it, seem a little week for deciding not to have it, cuz i know a couple places that have it. If people are to lazy to post their thanks, but not to lazy to press a button to do it then somethings wrong i think lol.

You're right imp. I always use the thanks hack on MH when lazy... and I know most of the people here are lazy just to type out a simple thank you line ^^;

And it will surprise you how much a simple thank you can make a translator/cleaner/scanlator...etc feel so good inside. It made them think that they didn't just waste their time. [well i feel like that sometimes] I really wish that there's a thank you hack here!

I still dont like it. I am the opposite. i prefer to type out my thanks always. And probably say more thank yous than most.


But if many downloaders dont even say thank you to FH releases then it may be necessary to install the hack here too.

Well I would do both because I know that being thanked for what you do is important. I post new releases a lot and being thanked is the only thing that keeps me doing it^^
