Naruto Chapter 407 Discussion

I loved Kakashi's expressions in this chapter. That's exactly how I feel about the current arc. :P

And Sasuke is after the Eight tailed beast eh..
And Pein is going to Konoha. Feels like it's all gonna end soon. :p

If the real Pein wasnt there when he was fighting Jiraiya, I wonder where he was and who the real one is. It also looks like he has plenty of repalcement bodies in case he looses one. Well hopefully things will start moving again.

What's with the replacement body that looks like Konan? She was sitting right there on one page, then he shows her walking off into the other room, then there's a Pein groupie that looks like her.

I don't get his ability. Does he split his powers and gives every pein one jutsu to perform or do they only use there former favourite jutsu ?

I'm kind of getting this feeling that we'll be viewing some climactic inner Naruto battle scenes, if Pain indeed captures his target / attempts to extract the Demon Fox. We may be nearing the time where Naruto faces the evil inside him and conquers it, or it could just get ripped from him a la Gaara; either way, I see a strong new Naruto coming out of it.

That Raven which Itachi slung into Naruto's throat may play a role in the soon-coming events. I'm holding my breath.

I heared a theorie about the raven once before and if this theory comes true I'll curse the author. In the theorie (a friend of mine had) Naruto gets the Sharingan....

@fain , impossible, sharingan can't be transferred that way, i hope he was given new jutsus though

although that crow would play a part if someone were to unlock the seal inside naruto, like a trigger or some sort.

Hm, I wonder if mangaka just makes it up as he goes or if it was all planned out from the start. :D

I'm almost positive that the raven will be involved with this Pain encounter. Itachi must've had the insight to know he would be the one to go after Naruto, and he knew his time was almost up (so he could reveal his true colours). Quite the time to defect from the group, anyways. Too bad he was just replaced with Sasuke.

LOL, wouldn't it be awesome if, in the middle of an intesne battle where Naruto was losing, the crow comes out and, in perfect anime style, says, "AHOU, AHOU...~"

I don't think the raven is against pain. More likely it will protect him from the mind manipulating effects of the sharingan or at least weakens them a bit.

That, my friend, is the fun part :). I'm not scared to be wrong, so making all of these crackpot (I admit, they're crackpot) ideas can be quite fun. And if there's the seldom chance of guessing something right, the victory is oh so sweet. :D

Let's not forget that Sasuke is not the only one with eye techniques. Pain may have different eyes, but it'd be all the more impressive if the raven worked in Naruto's favor.

Also thought about that mixed thing before...but yeah... I'm not so sure.
If it is mixed i think it could only be used once. That would be against pain. Afterwards he would need a new way to save himself from sharingan. ^^
