Chapter 502 was awesome. Oda achieved another ridiculously orgasmic cliffhanger.

damn cliffhanger!! cant wait to see that will happen on next chapter. luffy and his grand father might see each other again.. most of the admiral are on ace/WB.. there are definitely some/lots of people from the base.. at new tricks does luffy have under his arsenal.. :) what will the other pirates do?

I though Zoro was going to do it last chapter, but Ruffy made it, well, he's the captain, so he should do the things that would put the crew on danger (well, he always does haha)

I can see something happening around WB and Ace, but I think Shanks will get involved too.
And Ruffy might end up on that thing too.
Don't really think Aokiji will appear again that soon, even because the other admirals haven't made their appearances.

Just can't wait to see what's going to happen next week, there are those other pirate crews, some with bounties higher than Ruffy... Well, I guess after that last one Ruffy's gonna be the head there rss

Well, to be honest, his bounty should have been much higher than it already is if you consider his victories against Enel and Moria.

very true, if the news that he defeated moria would spread, his bounty would have been in the 400 hundreds. and moria was on par with one of the yonkou.

I think this arc is pretty much obvious, since the fleet won't send an admiral on the account of Ace and White Beard and there will be a huge war between the pirates,the slaves and the people of the island versus the tenryuubito and the pirates and men they can buy with money including those that are terified of the admiral and have been in the auction since most of them seem like scum ^^

Well bounties don't really mean a whole lot... Bounties basically mean your criminal worth, not your strength. If it was strengthwise Zoro would be equal to Luffy...

Anywho... I think that Zoro and Luffy could pretty much take on any of the Eleven SuperNovas... Sanji could probably take on like one of the lower bounty ones...

Also I think an Admiral may get dispatched to the Island despite what is happening with WhiteBeard... or maybe a Vice Admiral at least.

Pirates get their bounty by causing problems to the WG. Your bounty is based on what information the government has. If WG knows about Luffy's victor of Enel(w/c is unlikely because a few is only informed about skypia) If they knew that Luffy won against Enel, he might have a higher bounty.I disagree with the part that it doesn't really mean a lot. A bounty is like the pride of a pirate, It is true that bounty doesn't mean one's strength. Luffy = Zoro. This is yet to seen. But base on Enies Lobbies arc,(just based on this) Luffy was on par with Lucci (4000 dourikis) Zoro vs Kaku(2200 dourikis) and he was having a hard time. He couldn't defeat Lucci. And Arabasta arc, did you think Zoro could defeat Crocodile. Well all of this is thanks to Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Mi. Since Zoro doesn't have one, this maybe a handicap for him. But in the One Piece world, there are really some strong guys without Devil's Fruit. There are several people with super strength. Luffy vs Zoro is yet to be seen.

Easy Fella, Don't go underestimating them, as they were able to caught the attention of the world government. Surely Luffy, Zoro, Sanji are super strong. They might win, but it won't be easy. Take Kid as an example, There might be more to him than just attacking civilians.

That is possible, It may be the first appearance of Kizaru or Aokiji insists the he goes. Or Maybe Garp is on the way. This maybe a good arc, The match between Grandson vs. Grandfather.

You know, I wonder if it's actually true that Kid attacked civilians. If you think back to how Luffy got his first bounty, it was because he hit that corrupt Marine guy who was with Arlong, not because he did something bad. Maybe Kid's crew was also misrepresented but obviously pirates don't try to clear up their name.

Good point, the World Government usually says whatever they want about pirates...

On another note, Zoro vs Luffy has been seen and it looked pretty even IMO (provided that was a long time ago). Also Zoro didn't exactly have a hard time with Kaku... He beat him in a single move after using Asura.

Luffy got knocked out once, Usopp had to interrupt the fight to buy Luffy time... and Franky helped Luffy out earlier as well...

Also Zoro fought both Kaku and Jyabura simeltaniously for a short while despite having Sogeking sitting there uselessly on his arm.


That aside I don't believe I'm underestimating the SuperNovas when i say Zoro and Luffy could take on any one of them, It probably wouldn't be easy, but Zoro and Luffy would manage.

That would be great, loved this chapter just kept showing that once you become a friend to the SH you never ever mess with anyone they think highly of, loved that scene were Nami is shocked by what happened to Hachi guess she forgave sooner then he thought hope he makes it so she can tell him, also hope the strwhat anhialate the island just looking at Zolo, Sanji and Luffy Hell has been unleashed and nothing gonna stop them this time no Nova or Admiral.

The thing is, Hachi was never willfully a member of the Arlong pirates. He said so himself in one of the chapters, that he was forced to do all the things otherwise Arlong would have killed him. It was quite obvious even during the Arlong arc that he was a nice guy.
