I need to post my desktop wall paper here. So how do i do that? anyone know?

hmmm first of all you need your desktop wall paper's picture... then i'll use goji's explanation^^: "I'll help you out B-one.

The easiest way is to first put your image/photo/picture online somewhere. To do that you need to make use of an "Image hosting service", like: PhotoBucket, ImageShack, Putfile, Tinypic, Imagevenue, ...

So for example: you go to Photobucket, you create an account (for free) and you upload a few of your pictures.

Once they're uploaded you can view them in "My album", and under each image you can see a few lines which say: Email&IM, Direct Link, HTML Tag and IMG Code.

And since this is a forum where we use the IMG Code, you have to use that one.

Just click on the word "IMG Code", or just copy it yourself out of the box you see (both do the same thing).

Now you are set to post the image;
Go to this thread, and write a new reply, and where you want to put an image/photo, just press ctrl + V (-> paste).

And now you should see something like:

If you now press the post button, the image should appear! Victory!


So it's super easy really, just type the image code for this forum, with in between the location of the image.

Just like this: the location of the image online

It looks ugly if you have if i have it Full sized. (well not really cuz i took it off the High def raw, but full screen desktop things that have lots of color and stuff just doesn't look good to me *some exceptions though)

I love Gurren Lagann wallpapers.

I uploaded a 400-500 meg zip/rar of most of my wallapapers for a friend a while ago.. lemme find the link.

I try and only keep wallpapers I can actually imagine STARING at for a long period of time.

His are a bit more hit and miss, but most are pretty damn fun. Might be a few repeats between the two of us though, as we both love Animepaper.com for their scrutiny in what they allow to go up. (Versus say www.animewallpapers.com)


Also: GET ULTRAMON or WALLMASTER.

Both of these programs can automaticall size an image to fit proportionally, meaning that a widescreen image is STILL widescreen, but sized to fit your screen (black bars top and bottom). Wallmaster supports a wallpaper rotation, which lets you have it automatically change your wallpapers. Ultramon, sadly, does not. but it DOES support multiple monitors, and since i have 2 monitors, it has been my wallpaper application of choice for a while.

(If anyone can find me a program that rotates wallpapers automatically for 2 monitors, I will love you)

I actually made like 4 colorwalk walls when I got a whole bunch of pics (A LOT of colorwalk scans on my comp now)...And I do keep some the original colors, but colorwalks are used so much, that I like to make them look different when I can. Plus I LOVE gradients, lol. And I think Mugiwara Pirates and rainbows just kind of fit :D

Wow I really like the last one , the one at the lake and all the white trees and ground

and thx for the wallpaper akan, but it's kinda the same as mine only abit darker, the one anon showed was resized and quality was reduced so that was not good enough :P and I have the purple one too, it was kinda too flashy that's why I didn't use it
