Hello there!

I'm Aiden and one of the editors for Pew Pew Scanlations. Currently we are looking for a Japanese - > English translator to work for us. Right now we have picked up a series that has been dead for a while (due to inconsistent scanlations groups who were disbanded) called: Happy World!

http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=245

Our head translator had to drop out of the project due to pressing time at law school and our other translator is too busy studying for finals that she can't help currently with the projects.

But we love the project so much that we can't just put it on hold. So we are willing to pay a translator to help translate this series and if anyone is interested... please send me a pm or reply back to this thread!

Thanks!
Aiden

Thanks I appreciate it. As for our current series, there's the link I posted.

About us:
Basically we’re a bunch of amazing internet doods (and one loli) who scanlate stuff.
The group's main focus is to pick up discontinued series that are cool and was stopped due to either scanlators disbanding etc. While new series may seem cool, we pretty much just want to finish the ones that were continued but never finished.

We're pretty nice people and I hope we get some nice people and thank you for helping us *bow*.

It would be nice. Currently our editors, QCs, are on fire.

Just post what series you would want to work with and we'll choose and start a joint.

You can talk to us directly anytime you want there. ^^; It's actually more preferrable to talk on iRC. And we're mostly on there chatting or planning our project.

I'd love to see Skip Beat start up again--I haven't seen any updates for a while. And there are a bunch of chapters that could be redone, that are really bad scans and translations. I'd totally be up for helping out on that, so let me know!

Also, there's a yuri series called Simoun that I read a couple chapters of, and it was pretty good, so that's a possibility too.

Lastly, a bunch of the series that were mentioned in the first post, like 20th Century Boys and Inuyasha, have already been scanlated/published in the US, so unless they've been dropped probably it would be best to concentrate on ones that haven't been picked up by anyone else?
