cleaning "try"

hey there
i'm new here and well...
i worked with photoshop for a year now, but i have no experience in cleaning/editing ..just tried the test and wanted to know where and what i can improve because i have no idea how bad/good i am :)

blood + test

Why im the only one who can´t see them????

blood+
on the right side of this guy with a sword, there is sth blurry - get rid of it

naruto
crop more, there are black lines on top, on the bottom and on the left
there are some blurry places and some lines are weak, but it looks ok

one piece
greys are way too blurry, you need to denoise less
the sfx's look bad as well
try redoing it with less denoising, less levelling and more burning


overall, not bad for first try (actually pretty nice)

yup, I agree with makhan, overdenoised but pretty good for the first try ;)

i had a little learning-only-break
unfortunately it wasnt for cleaning but for school :(

this time i did some pages from naruto 388
the raws were average naruto quality but they were small already
i tried to do them as quick as i could (looks like that sometimes ^^)

OK, I looked at naruto and they're pretty good, there's a bit more black left from incomplete croping but it's OK, and the others are good as well except that you need to level more that FT page since the white's aren't white, amnd the DGM page is a bit overburned but good I'd say ;)...well let's wait and see if the admins will let you join or slave you more before you join ;)

its been a long time since my last post ^^
i will now concentrate on HQ scans
i read through some tuts but there are still some things i don't really know how to do correct (the greys etc...)
heres my result (spoiler for OP 498 page 3 CAREFULL)
the sfx are propably not right ^^ i just thought of something and erased the j sfx

It's good for a speedscan, but for HQ there are still some things you should fix
I never really did any hq cleaning, so I'm not the one to talk, but here is what I think needs redoing:
- greys
- borders (bottom line of the top frame)
- bubble borders
- sfxs - I would use different font
- the writing in bottom right corner, first (last?) letter looks bad

Yeah...what makhan says covers what needs to be done for HQ. Plus all lines need to be neat and smooth, some of them are spotty. Redrawing is how you fix that stuff.

add on to the both of them the fonts anti-aliasing should be smooth not strong or crisp or whatever you're using!!
