Utawarerumono Discussion

Does anyone else know about this anime?? It's based on a Visual Novel by the same name. Basically it's a fantasy anime with war/mononoke themes. Here's the wiki if your interested.

Anyway, im currently watching this anime after playing the Visual Novel, and so far it's really good. Hope someone out there's interested as well

I really enjoyed this anime. It was a lot of fun with very likeable charaters ehich is never a bad thing. I haven't played the visual novel yet- where did you find it?

i found the visual novel on nyaatorrents awhile back - it pretty much follows the anime, but they include the specials that were on the DVDs of Utawarerumono. i keep hearing about the OVA that will follow after the ending of both the visual novel and the anime - dunno if that was a rumor or not

Yea I know it. A great anime, has it all script, art and sound!! Everything is great in it ^^ It's a MUST SEE!

Yeah, I watched it couple of months back, the ending leaved much to be desired but other than, A+ anime.

Yea the end part was kind of sucky, but the entire anime it was wonderful so It didn't really bother me.

a have it in my HDD, i watch it again when i'm bored.

i like the story and characters.

A funny one? Hah, that's a good one, since if it's too serious, it can make me sleepy i the progress of watching..
I remember my friend's aniki has it, so I'll try to borrow it XD

it goes both ways for the series - plenty of funny plots, but when it gets serious it is good as well

i reckon Utawarerumono leans slightly to the serious, although it has some lightweight comedy mixed along the plot as well.

overall, very good. :D

but some of the battle scenes could have been better.
some animation where re-used.

in the later parts, where cool.

well i'm not surprised that happen - some animes tend to do that with major battle scenes to cut cost and to add some time to the episode
