This is just a rough sketch of the tutorial I am making. But I thought I'd release it now than waiting to finish it. I'll update the link once I've finished with the actual tutorial.

-this is a follow up version of the 'Noise Reduction aka Denoising Guide by Yonie-Daime' or rather a picture version. I also add a few other things to make it easier to understand.

-it should be easy enough to follow and understand. If something confuse you, Just ask. I'll answer to it to my best of abilities in 24 hours. If i still don't answer you - send me a PM, I'll surely answer you then.

-this tutorial consist of 3 things - leveling/ denoising/ resizing

-this tutorial needs Adobe 'Photoshop CS2' or higher and 'Neat Image' program
*if you have problem finding the program just contact me or PM me

-BTW, this tutorial only serves you the basic idea of cleaning after that it is up to you to improve your cleaning skill. Mess around and experiment with all the setting to get the result that you want.

Cleaning is really fun once you get the hang of it.Remember - any question just ask.

Yay! Angelz is working hard :D:D:D
I will check it out tomorrow and will write what I think about it :]

Sorry I'm double posting, but you probably wouldn't see that if I didn't do that. After you read it, you can merge my posts.
Nice, easy cleaning tutorial, but I have few things I would change:
1) pg04 - depending on the raw, sometimes you also have to move the black arrow
2) pg15 - you're moving white arrow too much to the left - that way the scan is too dark at the end - you should adjust it just a bit after the dip
3) pg22 - you're resizing first, and then deleting black areas - that way there are some extra white spaces that shouldn't be there - you should first select the image you want to save (everything besides black border), then select image->crop and then resize to 1200px height.
4) you can add something about blackening remaining noise with burn tool and removing remaining dust with dodge tool

Good work :D

Thanks Makhan. I learned something new here. I'll adjust the tutorial when I have some time - it seems nowadays, i just don't have time for myself T_T.

But Angelz has been doing soo wonderful. Even having time in your busy schedule to help out this weekend in releases. i really liked your naruto 372 -- i think it is your best release i ever read.

I read you tutorial and very helpful. One of the easiest to follow i have read so far especially with the pictures. I bet when i get permission at home to help clean it will be the first tutorial i will be running to.
