^^ Watched fist 3 seasons of Stargate Atlantis a while ago and now started to watch season 4. In my personal opinion this TV series are a great success and probably even better then the original Stargate! I really enjoy the plot and graphics that are done mostly VERY good. Big scale battle seens and incredible decorations, not to mention the sound accompany^^

Stargate Atlantis (often abbreviated as SGA) is a Canadian-American science fiction television program, part of the Stargate franchise owned by MGM. Developed by longtime SG-1 producers Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper, it is a spin-off from the television series Stargate SG-1. It is filmed and produced in Canada.

Stargate Atlantis follows the adventures of a human expedition to the lost city of Atlantis in the Pegasus Galaxy. The Stargate has brought humanity into contact with other cultures, including new and powerful enemies: the Wraith, the Genii, and later the Asurans, all while trying to uncover the secrets the Ancients left behind.

Stargate Atlantis premiered on the US Sci Fi Channel on July 16, 2004 with "Rising", a movie-style two-part episode, that guest starred Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Shanks from Stargate SG-1. The series is broadcast in HD in selected countries. Season 4 premiered in the US on September 28, and in the UK on October 9, 2007.

man thats gonna be one huge dl XD i used to love watching it but after the second series i sorta stopped watching tv altogether i watch when its on but i rarely catch the episode so i get a very bitty version of the story i think i only saw the first 2 eps of the 4th series (thank **** they didnt screw up the opening episode)the first eps of series 2 and 3 were weak in comparison to the finales before it though 4th season didnt dissapoint ^^

why did they kill off the doctor he was one of my favourite characters it is hard to belive he was american he pulled off the scottish accent so well

Yea I'd say they have a small start in s2 and s3, but the plot is good because it evolves as time passes. and each season in general is great!

I guess it was because they needed to lighten up the series a bit. It's not like it became boring or anything, it's more that they wanted to make sure that it will not get boring ^^

yep ive wtached both sg-1 and Atlantis and watched all of sg-1 and all 3 seasons of Atlantis i cant get enough of the show also did you see they are making a SG-1 MMORPG

I looked it up and it looks like the "Release Date:11 March 2008 (USA)". Now I'm DLing it from isohunt, tomorrow I'll watch ^^

whats your favourite episode so far (inc the latest season) i really liked the finale ofd the third series along with the opening episode for series 4 also common ground which was the one where sheppard was captured by the genii and was tortured by the wraith
