Movie Night (day)?

I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in a movie night (day) where some weekend we all pick a movie most of us have (or have the ability to get) and watch at the same time and talk about in the IRC. Obviously it would have to be something we have all seen so we can talk while we watch it.

It was just an idea and I don't know if anyone else would be interested.

Well it seems to me that a lot of the usual folks are on when I am on in the middle of the night (for me and its daytime for most of them) so I thought that might be a good time. Since my schedule is that way anyway it wouldn't bother me.

Naruto Shippuuden the movie. (Oh let the flamefest begin) I just noticed it's out subbed. :p

I've watched maybe two minutes of Princess Monoke. It's a very different way of animation than what I am used to.

Princess Mononoke is fantastic. One of my favorites. I also like Howl's moving Castle. Even if you don't like the style (It's more old-fashioned, but absolutely gorgeous) you'll get drawn into the story easily.

He might have been talking about diamond dust rebellion.... but ya. I'd be down for it if it was out. As for other movies I would say star wars....but :p

Last marathon I did was Futurama, I love that show, I never get tired of it.

I usually consider a marathon watching a complete series/set of tv/movies.

Hmm last thing i marathon watched pretty much is Elfen Lied then i think.

That's just 13 episode, that's like five hours. :p Why couldn't the remake the anime and finish it properly. >_<

haha i know 5-6 hours is probably around my limit. Unless its start wars and i haven't watched them for like a year then i can marathon watch all of that including the both clone wars seasons.

It's good if we have seen it, means we can do more chatting about the movies, otherwise we all might get lost in the movie and not chat.

Any more suggestions, it doesn't have to be anime, normal movies are fine as well. I would suggest Amélie, but its subbed only and I would probably get lost in watching that instead of the chat. It would be fine for anyone who speaks French though :p
