Holy cow, what a great chapter! <3 Robin =) And forget Hana Arashi, Big Emperor may be my new favorite technique^^

And in a move only Oda could have made, Kuma showing up at the end... anyone call that? I know I sure didn't.

Anyway, what did everyone else think of the chapter?

haha i acually enjoyed typsetting this chapter. had some fun with the diffrent fonts for all the different attacks.

Robin was haha awesome in this chapter. I found it funny that franky was saying how she was betraying them so soo after that last arc.

I was with oz i wanted to see that technique aswell.

Yeah -- Oda is just tooo much. It almost feels like the battle b.n Luffy and Moria is going to be disrupted.

Is Kuma after Moria? Or somebody in Moria's gang? Or is he after Luffy-- which i doubt.

I don't think hes there to fight, i feel hes just giving out the message for what happened with Ace BlackBeard fight, cuz ace was defeated and blackbeard is gunna be new shichibukai.

But this is one piece so anything is possible haha.

Blackbeard new shichibukai...no way I don't want that...

ace really did get defeated? it didn't show that he was, just showed his hat on the ground then moved on.

well, the other possibility is that Ace defeated Blackbeard... off screen... after a huge build up of BB looking to become one of the main bad guys of the series...

So yeah, I think the odds that Ace won are slim to none. Whether he's alive or not is the real question.

Considering Ace vs Blackbeard, I don't think either of them died. And Kuma coming to the Florian Triangle possibly means that he's there to check if Moria still was active. And if he now sees Luffy defeat him, then the World Government will know that they have two slots to be filled, and would probably give Blackbeard his status if he collaborates with them to take down the Yonkou. I really really hope that it will all come down to a final showdown between the Blackbeard Pirates and Strawhats, since they have about the same amount of people in their crew. But that's a bit further down the story I'd guess. ^^

Big Emperor was truly amazing. But I think Sanji and Zoro will be against doing it again as well as Robin.

Anyone else notice the name of the moon city? Bilka was also the name of the sky island that Enel destroyed before he moved to Skypiea...

Also we see wings on these people, finally giving us an explanation of why the Shandians had them even before they were shot up to the sky. Also, by connecting the Moon People and Shandia, we now have a connection to the Void Century. I have a feeling that Enel's little side trip may be very important to the overall plot...

I new i recognized the name. man i feel dumb now, i like just rewatched that arc when i forced my friend to watch it.

I don't think this is all that important but, it very well could be depending on what else is revealed. Either way it is very interesting, and since these mini arcs don't seem to get animated since like forever, its one of those things that anime only watchers miss out on.

Bartholomew Kuma's presence is surely a mystery. If the world Government knows of Ace and BB's fight he could actually be the one to let the Mugiwara's know of what transpired b.n Ace and BB on Banaro island.

Never thought of that either. I was thinking he was there either to handle Moria, or to discuss something important that the WG intends to do from now on, etc.

Yeah, in general my theory is he's there to let Moria know about the new shichibukai - Blackbeard. However, given the insanity that is Oda, who knows?

However, given the insanity that is Oda, who knows?what if all three suggestions happenedall 3 suggestions occured. That Kuma gets dragged into the fight b.n Luffy and Moria or came to fight by himself. Which doesnt seem the case. And And he also has info or came to do something on the WG orders. And then he ends up telling Luffy and co about Ace vs BB

I think that probably he is just there to punish Moria for messing around w/ zombies and stuff. I mean, the likelyhood of the world government approving of it is about the same as the world government approving of Crocodile.

yeah- i also think so too. Definately something related to the WG. Crocodile was going to be dealt with too - thats why ICEMAN didnt kill Luffy. So if Moria is going bad too this is a possibility. Thats the first reason i thought of when i see the bible - judgement from above- the WG.

I think that the thing he owes Garp is a bit more why Aokiji doesn't kill Luffy and not as much the Crocodile incident. Sure, they were glad Luffy got him down, but don't think they'll be taking him lightly from now since he waged war against them. So Kuma being there to take Luffy in to the WG is alot more likely in my eyes.
Would be fun to see if they want Luffy to be a Shichibukai. ;D

haha never though of that. That would be hilarious if they asked him to be one.
