I wish they would translate it and bring it to the US but it most likely won't come over here. also I don't have it. wish I had it.
When it is out in english pls post it kk? ^^

why would they release an English version if we are not even supposed to know about R+V

Viz licenced the manga, and even if they licence the anime the chances of the game being released on DS in English is pretty low.
Anime games rarely if ever get U.S. releases

If you google search it, you can find the Rom. But the problem is that i can't seem to get it working through any DS Emulator.

Well I managed to get the Rom working on the NO$GBA Emulator. Too bad I can't understand a word of it. It does seem like a visual novel with mini-games thrown in (some of which are ridiculously easy). I doubt that this game would be translated and sold here in the states, unless R+V becomes super popular.

There's a DearS DS Game available here in the states in english?! Oh man, I would have never known! Well.....I suppose it's possible but I still don't think it's likely. Then again, I *have* been wrong and surprised before.

There are a crapload of games who never makes it out of Japan. I read somewhere that 70% of the games made in Japan are of the Visual novel type and hardly any are translated. Alot of normal games arent translated either. Its rather strange as one would think it would take less effort to translate some games then make new ones, so even if they only sell marginaly well so would the costs be rather low.

Perhaps when the next ds revision comes out with onboard memory and they open the ds download store we might see some. Since then they wouldn't even have to produce carts.

I say we send emails stating that they should bring games like Rosario+vampire to the US! or other countrys depending on where you live instead of just keeping them in japan.

or give them a call and give them your input about it at (650) 350-6500 and if they don't take suggestions then ask for their e-mail address.

yes!!! finally got it, too bad I cant understand though
btw for anyone who wants to increase the size of the emu its rather simple, right click on the NO$GBA icon, then properties > compability, then just tick "run in 640 x 480 screen resolution" and voila! :D

I cant understand it either, but ive managed to beat a few of the girls stories in it, just by doing what the pictures tell me to do in the mini games and by just mindlessly clicking during text boxes lol

In the end, how does the actual game play like? Is it just fodder for the diehard fans to munch on?
I have only imported one game for my DS, and that's Electroplankton. Money well spent :).

From my experience so far with the emu, it's okay, with the exception of the crackling of the voice over clips. The mini games seem fairly easy, but if those who finished the game could offer up some strategies for the mini games that aren't so self explanatory, that would be helpful.

yeah its pretty good, looks much better than on the emu of course lol :p

I don't mind the crackle much, just so long as the graphics are good, I'm happy. BTW, how do you play the "musical chair" game? Do you just tap to the rhythm or something?

no$Gba is a very good emulator but there are a lot of things I hate about it:
1. The size (you need a special tool to make it bigger)
2. NO MULTIPLAYER (that SUCKS a lot)
3. emulation speed at 200% ??? Why not more
4. lacking animations for some games
5. crash downs while playing some games and you deactivate the sound.
This were the disatvantages of v 2.6 I think... is there a new and better one out by now ??? I could really need it.

2.6 seems to be the latest...
