When I level denoise and level - the speedlines seem to be blurred. How do I solve this problem or what did i do wrong?

I want the lines to be as clear as it is in the top page.
PS:And can somebody teach me step by step to using the history brush to change ugly grey back to its initial state?

You can check how to use History Brush Tool here:
http://www.lonestardigital.com/history_brush.htm
You just use it like Brush Tool, just that you need to choose right box in history palette
I'm always wandering if I should change grey back to its initial state, because sometimes it looks better denoised and sometimes not :/ (and I don't want to leave some greys denoised and some not because it looks weird)
And as for the lines:
you can try resizing (so that it would be bigger) it before denoising. If that doesn't help, you can always use history brush tool on these lines.
These are newbie's answers, so now you should wait for Venicia to answer your questions (I'm also curious how cleaning gods do these things :))

Finally somebody posted a training thread here too. This is good. Yeah!!! i hope more scanlators can give their opinions apart from FH members. Isnt that what this forum is for?

um most people redraw the speedlines. im not really sure if there is away to actually make them look good after using some kind of filter.

Angelz, i will just post something little now. A little engaged somewhere right now.
But this it- many HQ teams dont use filters although a lot more are using them now. if you were doing HQ then you usually may have to redraw most of the speedlines and use other techniques like motion blur if necessary
If it is a speedscan - L- MQ, releases you dont usually have to worry about getting the speedlies or greys back to their pre-filter state or in a pristine condition. Otherwise you are talking about probably increasing your cleaning time by anywhere b.n 1-4 hours.
The best thing i will tell you now is this: depending on the settings and the kind of filter you use u may end up blurring your speedlines more than what you want. You need to try out several settings until you get what you want.

yeah - Some of the greys in some of the speedscans have quite terrible to look at. Usually they look more messed up than the original raw and Darker -- which makes me wonder why that is.
Using the History Brush really helps i guess. Although at the expense of release time. only if you know how. Anybody find a way out of this yet?
