it very very simple, but it took me a while xD.

now... i made a lovely death note (i know it seems difficult to do, lol)

It's pretty good GDP. A little too bright for me but it's all good. A couple of pointers just to help you get them to look even better.

When you make your renders you want to be careful not to let any of the colors go out side the black line. There are a few bits of white still in there that should be cleaned up.

Now for making better backgrounds. You are going to want to go out and find a large variety of photoshop brushes. You can find them on deviantart as well as a bunch of other places. Here's a useful little video that shows you how to install and use them and whatnot.

Last bit is don't be afraid to pile stuff up on top of each other with lots of layers. Most really nice sigs and background will have more then 15 layers. learning to play with the layer blending and all that helps a lot. It is all about trial and error.

By far the hardest part of doin this stuff is making the render, and you did a nice job, so hat's off to you there. Keep it up man, I think you have a good eye and will be able to do a lot

i dont really know how but this one ended with 17 layers.

and of course ill keep trying practice will help me improve.

Good job gdp! It looks a lot better. You are already making progress! The only criticism I can make is you still need a little work with blending your renders into the background. But otherwise it is a very nice BG

coming from mr signature this is a very good complimnent.
i was thinking in starwarsdude. i like the phrase in his sig and wanted to put it like this

I think that the way you put the text and the color of the text was really good.

that wasn`t easy really it took me quite sometime to find out wich type of color and wich blending option would suit best.
that said for a photoshop n00b like me i really like the work. im practicing a lot with photoshop now, even though im making pretty simple stuff.

Daaahh... I wish I had energy to practise making sigs and wallpapers. I got tired after I made 3 sigs for practise =P

Anyhoo, yer work is nice. Ya have potential, so I'm kinda interested to see what'cha can come up with in da future :ganbaree:

Lookin very nice GD. You are gettin damn good. That Kenchin stock is awesome. For fonts I use this site http://www.1001fonts.com It's where I get all of my manga typesetting fonts too

I like the one in the middle the most. The one too the right has to much light colors for me. But good signatures all in all.
Rating.
First 6-7/10.
Second 8-9/10.
Third 7-8/10. I like the font.
