Soundtrack that fits manga

I don't know why but I try to find music that fits with the manga I'm corrently reading or if that manga has an anime I usually listen to a song from the OST.
For example, when I'm reading Berserk I listen to the Gears of War soundtrack or the soundtrack "Senna" from the Bleach movie for Bleach.
Is there more people out there that does the same? And what's your special soundtrack for that special manga?

Well, I've downloaded Clannad's OST and there aLOT of clips in it, and I like to listen it whenever, I also downloaded some opening and ending scenes and listen to when I like it.

And When I'm reading manga then I sometimes listen to the no vocal tracks from the Clannad OST.

i agree. i can't concentrate when there's music.
but i listen to a lot of anime ost before i go to sleep (kinda like lullaby).
Soundtrack that fits manga? i dunno why, but 'amai yume' by unicorn table (school rumble) makes me think of nagasarete airantou... weird huh?

I can't read if there isn't music, I think it looses alot of feeling if it's too quiet. :p

<_< No it won't always do that. Like when you REALLY like the tune of it you go humming with the tune while reading, that means your concentration is on the music.

well to be honest, I don't sing or humm in front of my parents either. (with hummin I don't something like buzzing but neurieng(does this exist in english ? :P) with the tune)

oh yeah, forgot the whistling, you can do that too. I do that too, only in my room because my dad doesn't like whistling. He doesn't like it because when he used to whistle when he was young he'd get his ass kicked by his dad. So now he's using the same policy <_<

I normaly listen to Nightwish or Anime soundtracks (mostly Black Lagoon) when im reading manga's. It's very relaxing.

Never tried Nightwish, haven't found a manga that fits with operametal. :p

It usually depends on what manga i'm reading. If i'm reading a sad manga, I'll listen to "Lux Aeterna" by Clint Mansell, or I'll listen to more of the sad or slow anime opening and endings. If I'm reading a manga that has a lot of action or fighting in it, I listen to those kinds of songs, and so on. Really it just depends on what kind of manga I'm reading...

Hmm, in my case, Whenever I listening to music when reading manga, I'll (almost) always forgetting the music itself. Even though it was my fav., when I realized, I thought "Huh, when did the music that being played has come to this one?" (looks like there's / there're a or more grammar mistake in this sentence, sry)
or "When did my fav. finished?! I heard nothing!!"

Anyway, right now I like Minami-Ke series MP3, Spiritual Garden (from Nanoha, and 2 / 3 more from Nanoha series by Tamura Yukari), Over (Clannad), Namida no Sekai and Reflectia (True Tears), and some music from Yui (like Rolling Star-->Bleach).

Yeah that's how it usually gets. :p I can play through a whole playlist while reading manga and forgetting all about the music. :p

Yeah, that's usually how it goes for me. But sometimes, repeating, sometimes the music is the one that's disturbing the reading by taking over my concentration. But whatever happens, music on ( ^_^.)

I usually wear earphone too. And wheter I listening the music or not, I ended up ignoring any small voices that called me (Only a large voice can reach me >_< )

I'm in my own world when I read manga.. >.<. No one can disturb me, unless they turn off the computer, or if I'm reading an actual manga volume, take the book out of my hands. When I concentrate on one thing, I tune out everything else.

I recently like the Song by Rie Tanaka alot (it seems i really like rie tanaka's song, I think I might have some few others, but it might someone else too lol)
It's very calming, it comes from gundam seed and it's called Shizukana Yoruni , you should download the japanese version from Lacus clyne not meer campbell cause there are a few versions of those.(and not the karaoke xD)

Shizukana Yoruni? Then you should also try Fields of Hope. I think gendou has it so you can grab the song from there. It's a insert song (Eps. 7 if I not mistaken) from Gundam Seed Destiny, while Shizukana Yoruni come from Gundam Seed

when im reading karekano, heh, i pop in the kare kano ost

Skip Beat......for some reason, I seem to pop in Sailor Moon (I guess it must be the "I wanna Be a star song, and the who do you think you are (refering to ren))

When im reading Nana, I pop in any of the Nana Movie OSTs, or the Anna Tsuchiya/Olivia Anime Osts for it

I can listen to anything while reading, but I usually never notice it, and even if it stops playing I won't notice until I stop reading.
