I was stunned when I saw what this guy did in PS...I mean he drew a whole real life photo of a girl!!

I'd think that the last picture is the real one and then he photoshopped it to look like the second one, and drew the first one by hand or computer <_<

Its made really realistic..... you need some skilz for this...really. You need to be really gifted with art or you studied Art media and design.....most anime makers or game char designer can do this, but its still awesome.

Look at Final fantasy....someone designed the characters, sketched them with something like photoshop and drew the final touches....but they probably using something 10x better then photoshop

binktopia are fast because they use script but our scan quality if we clean it nicely always better then them look at the past when we were FH 8 members only beat every other group in quality wise :D

we're not the best quality-wise now :p
it's like mab said, we were the best when there were only a few of us XD
now we scanlate too many series, and nobody is paying much attention to the quality :(
well, there are some very good quality scans, but only few every month (talking about scans using magazine raws, not HQ stuff)
but if our regular staff put their minds to it, we can still be the best XD

I guess artistic skill and comprehension of that level can be considered a type of genious as well. For those of us here who cannot even hope to draw that well, there is still one type of art that levels out the playing field completely... Stick figures for the win!

Maybe someday I will try to join one of the scanlating teams. Though currently time and Internet have a say in this ( my ISP times out on me whenever I try uploading anything above 1 mb TT_TT ) Well I guess all that means is that I'll be practicing in the mean time.

Wow, did I kill time or what! I spent some time browsing the site CGTalk and there are so many excellent submissions that I am actually jealous of their talent. Quite impressive considering that I've pretty much accepted it for a fact that skill of that degree is probably unattainable for me.

Alright I have an awesome tut for PS. I have been messin with this for a few days, and I have learned a lot (be careful I gave myself a wicked case of eyestrain by screwin around with PS for too long). The tut is called Photoshop Top Secret. You can either pay for it.... or you all know how to get it otherwise. Check it this was the first project I did.
