It’s about vampires silly ^^ Well basically there is a school that tries to make vampires live togever with humans. So the humans are called the day class and the vampires the night class(they study at night) Basically there are those humans who know that the night class is full of vampires and try to prevent them from drinking blood, in general that’s all.

p.s. nice manga, but I’m not sure if you should start reading it yet, there are not that many chapters out yet.

the way i see it the biggest C.C. fan should probably go make the C.C. fan club. however dancu has supported her by including many pictures in the perverted fan club thred. anyways the last chapter of Vampire Knight got me confused as to what was going on so I think I'll wait for the anime and hope they do a decent connection to the manga. However I'll probably like it anyways since I was speed reading through the manga like 2 months ago.

VK isnt a manga i read over and over.....1x only from chapter 1 to 28 and waited for scanlated every month........it just doesnt give me a WOAAAAAAAH feeling. There are only a few that i have read 2x or more and these are the one's i read 5x atleast: To love ru, Mx0, pastel, negima, omamori himari, gacha gacha ~secret~, Fairy tail, ID, Ga Rei, Pretty face. To love ru 13x if im correct and pastel 16x, Record holders ^^

BUT the only reason i read VK was bcos yuki was there. Hellsing pwns VK all the way with vampires. So the only reason il watch anime will because yuki is there.

you watch the last episode of Gundam 00 dancu? anyways if they are using the same VA of tsukune for kaname and now VA of setsuna for zero - it seems weird. I would think the VA of setsuna would fit kaname's character more, but this is under the assumption of keeping the same tone and such. for zero he seemed more like a hot head so need some more aggressive.

If you really want to know how they sound, go to veoh and search up "vampire knight drama cd" and watch the one titled Vampire Knight with a picture of Kaname for the Chairman (Kaien Cross) and Kaname's voice. pick any of the others to hear Yuuki and Zero's voice, with some others like "Idol"-sempai (:P). If you want to see the trailer for it, which is awesome I may add, search "Vampire Knight OP". I can't wait for this anime!

Haha :D. Well, I just kind of came across it and listened to it.. I can tell you though, Kaname's voice is awesome :)! And so is Zero's and Yuuki's... Kaien Cross/Chairman's voice really suits him though.. At least watch the trailer, the song really fits and the trailer is pretty cool.

Zero needs to understand, and he shouldn't hate Yuuki just because she "changed"... Come on, doesn't he love her? Is that all it took for him to push her away? What a useless guy... Seriously, she accepted him, even though she learned his secret. Though, I know the situations are a bit different...

I agree with ZeroYuuki pairing :). She likes him even if she's a bit slow about it, and he knows that he likes her. Now it's up to whatever pairing Hino Matsuri decided on...

Hmm, that's true. But, will it be able to work out, with all of the trouble that's going on right now in the manga? Everything is so confusing at the moment, so will they be able to be together again, or will that happen afterwards? Or, will it even happen at all?
After all, I think Kaname has something planned, for some reason. (Sorry, I always jump to conclusions ^^! Don't mind my rambling here XD.)

I'm wondering what will happen to poor Yuuki. She is a vampire and is "engaged" to her brother. >_> Incest. õ_O

It's true that Yuuki is a vampire, pure blood at that, but Kaname is not her "real" brother. Hence, she is not engaged to her "brother". It can be defined as incest though, because they are related. Kaname said he "would have been happier" if he was "born as her real older brother".. But as Kaname said, "She was born to become my wife. If she still wishes to do so, that is."

I want YuukiXZero!! I think Zero suits her better, because he's always liked her and cared about her, though he tries to act indifferent most of the time.. Kaname may love her, but he's related to her, so I just don't agree with it. Anyway, he had to awaken her in to a blood-filled world where she needed blood to survive.

But if you think about it.
Kaname loves her and she loves him. The only thing that's disturbing is that they are related but she developed her feelings for him under that spell her mother put on her.

Don't forget that Yuuki also likes Zero >.<. There are little hints that tell you that >.>. I just think they would be better than her with Kaname...

Well I see the relation between Yuuki and Zero more of a brother/sister love. But it was a while since I read VK so I don't remember everything that could point to something else right now.

Hey, everyone has their own opinions, right? I'm dead set on YuukiZero pairing, and you like the YuukiKaname pairing better. I guess it just depends on which guy you prefer >.>.... well, I won't complain if it turns out to be YuukiKaname, but I want the YuukiZero pairing.

Wow... I love the first episode!! It's great from start to finish... wish it was a double episode though :(. Ah well :). Can't wait for it to be subbed, I couldn't understand some of the sentences.. The word "vampire" came up enough times though :P. Like I said, Kaname's voice is awesome.. so is Yuuki's and Zero's.. the chairman's voice does really suit his annoying character, too XD. (Sorry, a little too excited that I finally was able to see the first episode...)

good episode the choice of voice actors are spot on really displays each character i considered would more or less sound like. the art is especially nice - mostly in the opening and ending sequence. the music was ok, i'm not too much of a fan for MANA but it does fit the sequenced. opening song was better overall. as i mention before about who i want to hook up is pretty much all i'm waiting for now in the series.

I plan to watch this but I will, as usual, be waiting for the subs. A few groups are planning on subbing it so we will see who gets it done first. Of course chances are it will be released while I am at work like things normally seem to be. It would be nice if things would end up being released before work so I can at least get the download started before I leave home.

they are all probably figuring out what to do with the karaoke portions - they always love to show off in the typesetting for those things especially with the sequences they used for both the opening and ending it would be perfect to do something fancy. i'm probably just going to stick to the raws for now since it hasnt deviated too much from the manga, but it seems to be a bit faster on the character plots especially for Zero.

Yeah, the character plot for Zero is going fast... Just by watching the first episode, you already know his secret..

I was surprised that they subbed it so fast, but then again it should have been obvious. Vampire Knight is a popular manga, after all. Of course they would have it done quickly.. I prefer the raw though, since I can understand [almost] everything, and the subs don't get in the way of little details. (Yes, I look at little details, even at the bottom. That's because it's the first episode, so I'm watching it closely.)

Yeah, anyone could have understood that Zero ain't human anymore. They showed the pills twice? But the thing that I think really shows that he's a vampire in the anime was the part when he leaves the bathroom and bites his lip and then he licks the blood.

the opening song its very cool.
the manga is so far better, the story started with Zero being a vamp already, no mistery at all.
the character design is nice and the story is fluent and easygoing, not "dark" but will eventually turn that way, 1st eps always are to introduce the story and the main characters

i've seen the first ep and read part of the manga it seems that the anime is following almost completely the manga.. there are some subtle changes to fill in space i guess.. but if it does follow the manga it'll turn out great

I think Kaname in both the anime and manga doesn't look what I would imagine a pureblood vampire to look like.

i really love the opening and ending songs! they really fit the theme well. the anime is moving alot faster than the manga though aye? it seems to be a lot darker than the manga was at the beginning. i was blown away by the drawings in the anime too, they match the manga almost perfectly! its beautiful art.

Actually it isn't moving so much faster than the manga. In chapter three or in the end of chapter two Zero bites Yuuki.

you are missing a good anime deman.
the op and ending is really good and like all the others have said it fits perfectly the anime.
Darky there are certain things that are going faster than the manga i belive thats to reach a plot sooner but in general terms is not going a lot faster.

That get's revealed in chapter three. And that would have happened after more than half of the Night Class ambushed him but it got stopped by Yuuki.

kaname made a huge impact on me when i started to read the manga, he hasnt made such a huge impact through the anime. just an opinion though. what do you guys think? zero seems like a much bigger character in the anime...^_^'

well if you want to get back on topic you could talk about the manga as well since chapter 39 got translated. for me it seems the story is jumping everywhere so i'm losing interest with the current story plot.

should be up on onemanga Dark - as for the interest part, i kinda lost it after all the jumping around with all the characters in the manga. as i said earlier has to do with character development, but the story starts to become confusing and you have to start learning more about the other characters they may or may not have focus on in previous chapters. at the moment i'm only concern with who yuki will choose to stay with. it will be a race between the manga and the anime to do it :)

i agree besides is kinda funny and nice to see where they divert from each other... but is a matter of taste i rather read-watch also to see if they are faithfull to the original idea of the creator of the manga.

well i only said that because i wanted to just point out the "good" parts about anime adaptations vs manga adaptations. obviously its his/her choice to say which one they like more or less. i remember when R + V started people (quite a few posters on this forum) were happy about till episode 3 :lol: oh and the ending of the series of it was pretty much another low point.

anyways back to Vampire Knight - if they go for anime only ending thats fine by me if they wrap up the story well enough. hopefully they will end on a romance since thats pretty much all i'm interested in now from the characters.

Zero and another of them hawt vampire girls. That's how I think it'll end. He'll accept that he's a vampire and etc.
And Kaname and Yuuki will have a lovely incest relationship.

the nail in the coffin for it to occur is if kaname dies, reason why he labeled zero as a strong vampire hunter. could be other reasons like rido coming out also

i dont know if it´ll be incest between kaname and yuuki. I dont know the details around kaname but for what i read, he was rised by yuuki´s parents but has some kind of relationship with the guy with rare color eyes (dont recall the name).
and i dont think kname will die he´s doing everything to live with yuuki.
but who knows i prefer if she stays with kaname.

I really hope the anime will end on a romance/relationship~ Cuz I've seen animes that are romance and they kinda leave things up in the air regarding the romance bit compared to the manga. (Like Ouran, Fruitbasket) I also enjoy watching both anime and manga of the same series, but I dunno if I'd do it the same time. (I'm always scared of one ruining the other ><) It is great fun to watch the little changes and how they diverge~ I mean come on, once you find a series you like and when it's over don't you feel like you want more? (That's how I am anyway, I end up watching anime then manga then jdrama and then the continuous search for OVA and specials!!!! wahah)
Personally, I'd prefer Yuuki and Zero. Probably cuz I have a bias for zero since I think he's so cool~~~ and the development of him being a super hunter is jst AWESOME
