well I wanted to see what our readers think we should do about R+V releases... but no promise it will be that way coz you never know what's gonna happen and we're gonna do what we feel like :p


Well I should also give you the pro's and con's for it as well:

Well there is a few ways to look at this since if we release once a week we will definetly start season 2 with tankoubon RAWs and will have more time to clean it so that it would be HQ releases from the magazine later on for you guys :D, but if we decide to release it as fast as possible it will end up in a not so good quality and we'd do season 2 with the mag RAWs so the cleans would be not as good as they would be if they are made in the 3rd
(or 1st) option - release it in our own pace which means the best quality for you guys but with a bit more of a time lag....

I just wanted to see where you stand ;)

I'm in favor of quality. Bad grammar makes me cringe, but Franky House has been doing a wonderful job so far (except for one instance) and I intend to stick with their subs till the end. I vote for weekly

I went for as fast as possible. Why? Because I haven’t seen even 1 bad release from Franky House and that includes fast releases too. So I trust you guys in doing your best at top speed ^^

Well that myte be true, but you know it is better to watch them all since this manga DOES has a script that requires constant tensions or else you’ll lose the interest if you’ll try mixing it with something else.

FH's quality is nice so there's no problem with that. And we don't need to rush them either. Let's go at a steady pace.


Also, you'll be mixing it anyway, it's not like you can scanlate one chapter just like that and do all the chapter. Besides, it'll be worse once we once a month, which we will anyhow but with once a week we will reach it later and you'll be really mixing it then.

I would say go at your own pace - and remember, once we hit season 2 - there is only 1 release per month....you think waiting 1 week is bad, wait till will have to wait a month to get the next chapter.

Also, I hate rushing people who are doing things for free (and I don't want you guys to get tired of translating, cause I would go nuts to have to wait for the manga to be released here in canada)....so my vote is:

Release it in our own pace with the best quality possible

I read Claymore chap 1-64 and then dumped it, since I was satisfied with the story(that was the time when all 24 warriors were wiped out) and was ready to leave it at that till time comes(Why? because it would take too long for new plot development to take place and I'm sure it would’ve been a lot harder to enjoy it) Only 1 month ago read it till 77 and now again I’ll forget about for 5~6 months.

Yes, Spice and Wolf is amazing - and I am glad people are translating the light novels. (cause I want to know what happens, does Horo get to the forest, and do Lawrence and Horo have cute little wolf cubs...lol)

I voted once a week with good quality. Soon as its done with poor quality degrades the overall experience, while taking too much time makes it not worth the wait. So taking the middle road where its not too poor, and not too long of a wait, is my choice.

I've voted for one chapter once a week with somewhat good quality. You may think fast is better but with no-good quality, it's just like a fresh new raw version. So I prefer the one with good quality. But actually, you should take your time translating it.

For example If you get a Naruto chapter the day it is out with low quality you still have to wait one week for the next. If they take their time and make it propperly it will need 2 days more and you also have to wait the same time.

i do have to agree with Fain, no matter how fast a chapter comes out... you still have to wait another week for the next to be published,no matter what quality it is in.. so they might as well do it right the first time
