1st time clean! Need advice!

1) page is too small, it has to be 1200px
2) crop the black lines
3) looks nice, but I can't rate it properly unless it's bigger

Hey mab, can you tell me how do you clean raw????

well it is easy XD
1- rotate the page if needed
2- crop the page
3- make the size 3000 height if it is not
4- make a new deplicate layer call it level (it is important so u can see the diff between it and the raw)
5-level
6-denoise
7-level again
8- make new layer call it burn(because if u have anymistake u still have the preclean page to go back to it)
9-burn the hell out of the blacks and white(invert the page to make white blacks by pressing ctrl+I)
10- resize and ur done :D

step 5-7 is precleaning which is the most important part of cleaning here it is explain here by our best cleaner i would say :D using Exposure instead of leveling but it is similar http://www.franky-house.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2047

Just for some general advice, before you start burning the blacks you could resize it to 1800, and burn the most dust, and then resize to 1200 to get away the rest. I think you can ignore resizing to 1800 and go for 1200 directly, but that's what I usually do.

Oh, and you should remove the text to.

Hi Aph, I'm not from FH but I still do scans so I will give you some advice.

Before you denoise don't try to level the blacks black and the whites white. It is ok to still have it a bit on the grey side. Doing this will help keep you from over leveling.

Be careful not to over denoise. You want to make sure your details and fine lines don't blur too much. Whenever I denoise I preview it with an area that has a lot of fine lines and details.

A little trick of mine that kinda runs along the same lines as Hana-chan is when I finish a panel I downsize it to 1200 pix just to see if their are any little mistakes or things I missed that are visible. Then I just step back (ctrl+alt+z) and it goes back to being big again.

You really are doing a great job and are much better then I was when I started. Good luck and keep up the good work.

your Mx0 is good, but i think you need to denoise it a little more and burn the second pabel, but don't run into grays, coz i think you burn kuzumi's trouser in the first panel, the gray is missing XD

you naruto page is nice!!! :D
you only need to burn sasuke clothes in the 5 panel, there's still white there but don't burn the lines

anyway, nice job this time!! :D

and you can see at FH pages,for Mx0 it's clean by Anon i think :D
coz i compare your pages to the one that FH release

Since i have cleaned one or the other Naruto page myself i took a look at your Naruto page with photoshop.

Overall it's good, a bit dark for my taste, but not that much to correct. Look at the little details, like redrawing the white lines in Sasuke's hair.
