anyone else think that tsu and the anti thesis leader were experiments by the priests. Since we learn that humans can be transformed into yokai, it seems like tsu was a ginnypig and this also basically confirms that tsu is a vampire in season 2

Anyway it was said that Tskune has a nature very similar to the key that unlocks Moka's rosary, so it is established that Tskune is unique for a human already(He has a nature similar to a magical item somehow) and the wearer of that item was also his vampiric sire, Siress? Mabye the fact that Moka had been drinking his blood for a long perion(ie she had integrated a smidge of his odd key nature)was the determining factor in whether her blood would kill him or change him. Thus I continue to ramble. I like inner Moka best, but only from a safe distance.

At some points you are wrong, but it IS true that he got the ghoul state because of overexposure to moka's supernatural blood. It might be the same for hokuto, by having supernatural power from someone else injected in him he has become like that. And yes, Tsukune emits waves if I may call it so that are on the same wavelength as the key to Moka's Rosary or should I say he has the same nature as the key (It probably is something like "Protect").
But his having the same nature has absolutely nothing to do with Tsukune's blood being Sucked or Moka's blood being injected. Besides, Moka had only sucked Tsukune's blood once or twice when Tsukune first took off her Rosary, before then Moka hadn't injected any blood in him until the kitsune youkai accident.

I think you have to be born with some kind of ability.
My guess is that Tsukune has the ability to become a full youkai.
That's why he was chosen.
Others don't have this ability, so it had to be him.

However that is pure speculation. ^^

what I wonder is who's stronger between Moka and Tsukune. Of course, Moka's got much more experience in fighting, but she seemed to have some trouble defeating Midou even before he used water, while Tsukune knocked him down with one blow after transforming, and he could take Midou's attack without getting damage, unlike Moka.

Ah, many thanks to the translators of Franky House for providing a good translation of this chapter! The translated Chapter over at Manga Traders didn't seem like a good translation. I too have wondered, since the very beginning, if the head chairman had anything to do with Tsukune "Accidently" enrolling in the accademy. After all, you do see in both the Manga and Anime what looks alot like the Head Chairman walking by Tsukune's dad (more like doing a 'drunken walk'. Maybe he wanted Tsukune's dad to think he was drunk.) and 'accidently' dropping the papers in front of Tsukune's dad. And as Yuko from XXXHolic stressed a few times, "There is no coincidences nor accidents in the world, there is only hitsuzen". Yup, I smell a conspiracy. What is that Head Chairman up to?!

Maybe the Head Chairman is actually the G-Man (from the Half-Life series) in disguise. Has to be, he's the one that likes screwing with people's lives!

He did resemble alot like the Skeleton Golems you'd find in a typical D&D Campaign (and in popular D&D PC Games such as the Baldur's Game and Icewind Dale series). Maybe the Manga author (damn, I keep forgetting his name) got his inspiration from D&D.

The only thing that i know for sure is that Tsukune became a ghoul due to Mokas blood and Hokuto became that Dinosaur Skeleton (he looks pretty much if you notice) Outcast ayashi due to unknown factors ,probably through experimenting with himself to became stronger to survive alone at the academy!
The only similarity that i see between Hokuto and Tsukune is the Holy Lock, the similar Demonic energy that they emit and of course that they were both once humans.
They arent the same monster, they just have the same basis as humans and thus come the similarities of the Demonic energy and that they both need the Holy Lock to control their powers!
Thats my belief anyway of the Tsukune and Hokutos association.

But truly that chapter starts more questions than it answers and makes you feel uncertain about various of things, like the the role of the chairman to this and his connection with the roll of Tsukune and before him Hokuto into the academy.

Have they stated that in the Manga? I don't remember it being said that the only way was to be born a vampire. Actually when Tsukune transformed into a ghoul it seemed like there were two possible outcomes just from how Moka was acting, and obviously it didn't go a good way.

Everyone else including the girls and Moka was expecting the blood to dissipate and him to return to normal over the summer, when in reality quite the opposite happened. He evolved from a ghoul into a full fledged vampire, or at least thats what I THINK happened, my Japanese isn't so good.

I'm not so sure about martial arts . . . till now all battles in R+V had no connection to any kind of martial arts. I’m most sure that he will train, but it will probably be nothing more than just training for his aura control and getting real life combat experience. I am hoping so too Ilesyt. I haven't even looked at any of the second season stuff though since I want to finish the first season before I do. I have heard that the quality is pretty bad so I really hope Elicit does the second season as well.

Actually, it will be interesting if he is essentially a Vampire but without the weaknesses, such as water. Of course if that is true I would think that it would mean he wouldn't be quite as powerful as a vampire with the weaknesses since things would have to even out. It would be boring if he was able to beat things too easy, plus we need to keep the Moka Tsuskne duo fighting group since the two working together is wonderful. I guess that would mean he would just be a hybrid then.

If he became fully vampire as the others have been wanting, he would gain all of the flaws that come with being a vampire, such as theyre weakness of water. But if he remained only part, water wouldnt affect him, and he would retain all of the superhuman aspects as a vampire. Think Blade but with out the vampire hunting.

Although, you know it would kind of be interesting if he did become a full vampire with all of their weaknesses. It would allow him to understand Moka even better and would bring them closer together since she would help him though the transition. Plus I have a feeling eventually we will get to see the rest of Moka's family and it might go over better with her parents if he is a vampire. :p I have heard we get to see Moka's sister next season, but I haven't peaked ahead. I want to finish the first season, plus I have high hopes that FH will translate the second season as well.

In all honesty, you see Inner's particular attitude and elitist way of thinking all over the place in the more well-to-do areas(namely rich brats who turn their noses up at those who dont have a brand new of the lot Ford Mustang with a leather interior paid by for theyre father/mother*damn rich bastards at my old highschool*) Thats the impression I have atleast. Well I as the series goes on you can see that the Inner Moka is feelings are changing because of Tsukune. Plus the whole upbringing thing is up in the air, I mean look at outer Moka, she definitely doesn't have an elitist look on life. From what we can tell, she seems to have been in control most of the time, so she should have learned her attitude on life from her parents as well. But the main reason I find it interesting was the idea that it would bring Moka and Tsukune even closer, which is a good thing.

Well I wasn't really going for debate per say, especially since the main thing was getting Moka and Tsukune closer and the family thing was just some additional thoughts of making things easier for him in the future. Nah... I read the chapters that have been translated on OneManga... they have chapters 1-3 or 4 so far. It doesnt go into to much detail of what happend at the end of Season I, and its looking to be just as good, if not better than the first Season.

haha i really like ecchi but sometimes it can be really annoying especially with the nosebleed thing, they can over do it with that. I forget what its name was had this kid on island with all girls and him getten a nose bleed from all the ecchiness got annoying real quick

what was ther sarcastic to be about, we were getting great fight, moka is back in action, and they made us wait anxiously for 2 weeks for the next chapter.
