Was a good chapter. It could be a new villain whose life was indirectly ruined by the strawhat's? or he could be someone whose life was ruined by Shanks and thinks Luffy via the strawhat is Shanks crew? O.o
I also loved the bit where Zoro's memory of Kokoro vanished...that was great =P

Good chapter, the phone call had very convienient timing I have to say ^^

as to iron mask... my moneys on Don Krieg, ex grandliner, angry character and the armour seem to sell it to me. I hope he gets spanked fast Bellamy styles, he was pretty rubbish before.

nonono, it's someone who's life is ruined by luffy in the past directly by Luffy.

And I don't think arlong would sell his own kind, like they said, those guys were fishermen, not fishmen.

No, I don't a mermaid will be joining the crew, I mean , she can't even move properly out of water because she doesn't got legs yet, and I doubt she's 30 years old (I heard that mermaids get legs when they turn 30)

Well, i think the mermaid can stay in the live well where luffy and usopp put the shark (in chapter 442, Adv. on the Sea of Demons, page 2). Of course after they've eaten the shark.. hehe ^^

But Based on apparent lack of fighting strenght is why i'm doubtful she will join, And considering like 2 people just joined pretty much having another person join now would be kinda repetitive...

But, they still lack 1 more member for the crew. So I think they will probably invite someone else into the crew. Maybe someone who can handle guns very well ? Or maybe another DF user, maybe one of the element type ? Like someone who can turn himself into stone or earth <_<

Thats not to say Oda won't surprise us and find a way to get another aweosme Mermaid to join or somehow make Caimie aweosme enough, cuz i would like to see a mermaid join, its just that I don't know if they would add another person so soon (although thats what everyone thought about Brooke and look what happened haha).

I think this will just be another one of those Oda will keep us guessing till he reveals it and it will be so unpredictable that its pointless in tyring to guess category. xD

my prediction is:
1. he is the master of arlong...
2 don krieg..???i think it's possible..but as long as i know..don krieg is not as strong as arlong...how could he give order to merman.because a merman won't take any order from weak person especially human..
3. arlong it self....

1) it's someone who got defeated by Luffy (maybe shanks, but he mistook him because the hat was his before, but I don't think it's likely)
2) Arlong is a merman, and as we know the merman stick together so he wouldn't sell off his own kind.
3) Don Krieg is a good possibilty
4) And where did you get the idea of him being Arlong's master ?
5) I don't know if he can be a shichibukai after being defeated by luffy.
6) Another possibility is the return of crocodile ? xD no I don't think so.

I was thinking maybe Dupal is Pacifista. If that's the case, then maybe Pacifistas are created by using a person's brain as a main point of operation. I'm assuming Vegapunk can do that kind of stuff, since his technology is apparently 500 years ahead of its time. Anyhow, if Dupal is a Pacifista, and they are created using someone's brain, this could open up more speculations.

I doubt its one of Luffys old adversaries, I'm personally thinking this Duval character might have some relations with Franky or, for some damned reason, Sanji (Before they knew who Luffy was). Prohaps he did mistake the flag for shanks.

Personally I wouldn't mind if it was Buggy (Who really needs to make another appearance soon), but thats a far far stretch.

I don't know , it might be an adversary of luffy, but it could also be an adversary of one of the pirate crews, like Robin, Sanji, Nami, Zoro, Franky

I doubt about them knowing about brooke yet, but I wanna seen their new bounties :P

Like we said, he's NOT related to arlong because Jinbei is an Merman and he probably isn't even in mermaid island at the time.

Dude you're missing the point, The merman isn't going to destroy his own kind. And arlong is a merman and duval is destroying the merman and selling them off.
The Duval guy is no second Itachi.

So he isn't arlong, he isn't Jubei, He is NOT a merman.
