Well, just as the title says, I want to know how many people actually joined this forum because of R+V.


For example:

You were searching around the net for more R+V and stumbled upon FH.
You were already familiar with FH, but didn't register and was just lurking around, but because you got interested in R+V or the thread for R+V, you registered.
...


It doesn't matter what reason you registered, as long as it has to do something with R+V in the slightest.

Oh yeah, I'm also one of you guys.

I was browsing around online for info on R+V and came across this forum, and since people here knew and loved R+V I decided to stick around. At first I thought this was merely an Anime/Manga message board, but days later Baka me realized that it's actually a Scanlation website with a forum. Heh. So yeah, I suppose it's mainly because of Rosario + Vampire.

I joined because I wanted to let everyone know that I appreciated their work on R + V

The timing was good too, since I had just finished what had translated about the time it started to be done here. So no long lag which made me a very happy person.

I also read several other of the series translated here as well, so I appreciate everyones hard work.

Well I joined mainly because I just happened to leave my internet page open no R+V and it was on the credits page. I think It's about the only scanlated manga that I read online :s So yeah, I joined because of R+V, simply :p

As for me i knew the FH scans long before R+V became famous, but i was just looking from time to time at the forums for info, nothing more nothing lees.
But when i read R+V and fell at the translations wall back then, i searched until i finally fell at FH and learned the situation from the forums!
At first i was just searching for more info on the releases, but then as i saw others joining for R+V and being impressed by the reliability of the forums, i decided to also join!
So here i am now! :)

I wouldn't considder myself the first, but one of the earliest since FH started scanlating R+V

As for HOW I got here, I didn't completely explain I think, so I'll do it now.

As you know, I was reading R+V until chapter 22, I was downloading from MangaDownload, but they aren't allways up to date, so I decided to visit one of the scanlating forums, the latest one was FH do I decided to visit FH to search for more R+V, I rarely visit scanlating forums for manga's, so yeah...

And then I registered because I wanted to post my thoughts about R+V in the general thread (somewhere page 9 or so :P)

It could be that the admins helped him register, because maybe he didn't get his e-mail to verify.

But most ppl don't have that, it's probably a separate rank then the average one, but it doesn't mean he got any priviliges.

i joined because of R+V and because of the posts everyone was writing i wanted to put my view down otherwise i would have happilly spectated as a guest. and the reason i started coming here is because i started watching the anime on veoh and got curious what the manga was like as loads of comments were down saying how the anime was out of order in relation to the manga (though it shocked me to find the extent of the warping) now i guess i will have to start branching out into other mangas cos i will go mad waiting for the rosaria subs to be released but i also dont want them to be released any faster (it kinda depressed me when i realised after reading to chapter 23 that in 2 nights i had read several years worth of manga) also when you sub a manga do you give a grace perios before you start scanlations to give the manga a chance to get good sales or is it just scanlate it when you make it up to that chapter

Well I don't know about that, I downloaded from mangadownload.net and the scans weren't bad I think.

Ossu Scanned the first chapters until ch 73 then it was Mahou-X then FH and Mahou-X together. though the scans by Ossu wouldn't surpass ours I think.

well, there won't be a fall until the manga ends and even then it will stay stable for atleast a year, meaning there's still more then 2-3 years for this baby.
And by then MxO will have become superpopular and will take over for R+V and after that we will have naruto season 3 and then naruto season 4 and then another naruto season 5, so the future seems bright...., right ?

ok let's just kill the naruto, but we still got One piece :)
and let's hope MxO goes for more then another 200 episode ^^

That's mostly because the grown up naruto is lame and lost his charm [/end of naruto manga's popularity unless he get's his charm back]

What is this charm I'm talking about ? Something that most male leads have. Which is the ability to solve/fix most difficult situation (or playing a big role in it getting solved/fixed). In Naruto's case would be fighting and maybe finishing off an opponent (undirectly if needed, meaning giving others the opportunity to be able to beat the opponent) Which he hasn't done at ALL in this season, except for ONCE (when he used his new fuu-rasengan).

Atleast Tsukune still got this charm, even in the new season.

I joined this forum because of RV and RV2, and i was wondering(from viewing it on onemanga) if mab uploaded 36 incorrectly because it seems to have an abrupt end to the chapter, and also i was wondering if Mab was going to be the only 1 working on completing RV while others worked on RV2? If so I may be able to lend a hand in the cleaning, not so much in the trans as i only have 3months of japanese under my belt..

I think Elicit is a bit busy thou, so he could probobly use a hand. I managed to translate some japanese today btw. I had some tools as help thou, but it was still alot of work as it took a while to find the right kanji. Translating kana doesnt seem to hard thou.
