I guess that Pein and Konan were Jiraiya's students at the same time of the 4th^^.

hmm, that would be cool. Hmm part of me says that not likely at all, but part of me is saying its probable. Can't tell much from the picture of the other 2 in the pic with minato and jiraya, old team picture.

Don't think they said anything like that. But never said she didn't either I think lol. Kinda makes sense in a way also, because of the random brining up of minato, maybe foreshadows meeting the other two members?

Considering that Pain has a Rain village headprotector I'd say at least he/she/it wasn't a student at the same time as Yondaime.

Jiraiya is the man!!! Ero-sennin is soooooooo famous. Even Pein calls him sensei. Yaaaaaaaaaaaar to the pervert sennin.

I am soo glad i like his character. It will be damn annoying if he dies. The way things are going i wouldnt be surprised if pein turned up to have something of Yondaime's- like his body or something, anything.

It actually sounds like there was a lot of village hopping back in the old days. Naruto's mom was from another village as well. But given what we've seen from Pein so far, is that we have yet another "possession type" character, kind of a cross between Sasori and Oro. Having a wide variety of human bodies available to jump into. Just my theory.
