Kouichi Sanada`s childhood friend Mao Mizusawa has returned after living in France for a couple of years. He is surprised to learn that, since her parents are remaining overseas for the time being, his mother has agreed to let Mao stay with them. Although he has always simply thought of her as a friend, he must now deal with his awakening feelings for her, as well as the feelings he has for his high school crush, Yumi Hoshino.

i have been watching this as well one of the good things i like about it is even though its listed as a harem each of the boys really only have 2 girls attracted to them so it really keeps the silliness out. I cant remember names but my 2 fav characters are prolly the girl genious and the soccer girl.

But man, poor kai, I really feel sorry for him, couldn't Mao just stick with him <_<

my favorite is futami (genius girl) if i have the power to make things into reality, i would probably turn futami into reality and make her my girlfriend, coz its very cute to have her.. hehehe..

i love the scenes in the kimikiss.. its very simple but very touching.. you can feel emotions from this anime..

Sigh after watching ep 22 i am kinda annoyed with this show cus its getten a bit retarded. The main kid is dumb he has his highschool love who is moving away in a few days and now just develops feelings for his other friend so what does he do yeah he ignores his girlfriend like any dumb shmuck would. If you dont like you g/f anymore break it off already. Then yeah have futami who is feeling obligated to sakino or something so she is gonna dump aihara. Blah all these situations are dumb and gonna end dumb.

Yeah I kinda feel the same way, they kinda do the same stupid sh!t all the time, feeling bad for some other girl because she loves you while you already have a girlfriend and ignore the shit out of her. I mean man, she's trying to forget so leave her be, and live happily ever after with your girlfriend, I mean you love her don't you ?

nah.. the main dude probably not mean it that way... but he's too affected bcoz of the actions of mao, the issue is, mao has moved on already, but the main guy isnt.. and besides, i think the main guys 1st love is mao thats why he's very affected..

regarding futami, we all know that, she is currently beginning to understand about feelings and social interaction, basically she only lived with facts from books, and have no idea regarding the amazing facts not stated in book like motivation, try hard and ETC (like sakino winning in the swimming race with injury, technically she cannot win with injury, but will power did make her win) so futami was just collecting some ideas and facts... she's probably applying SCIENTIFIC METHOD here... lol... but i like futami than sakino.. i cant just leave girls like futami.. but i dnt hate sakino.. haha.. this anime is interesting.. i really dnt want to end it having only 24 episodes... well.. i hope it will have a 2nd season..

i dont hate sakino but she had her chance and didnt take it so time to move on. Also Moa hasnt moved on she still hopes they will be together.

its alright i dont think it is as good as H20 or TT but if you have time to kill i'd say watch it

hmm so far i'm enjoying it - but it does drag on a bit. as for manga from what i can gather is that aihara and kouichi is a single person in there - i skimmed through it to see what the differences were. i'll probably read it once the last 2 episodes air.

ah this show is great. i only wish it was longer! it has so much potential. the relations dont seem that realistic though and thats where i would criticize it but at the same time it was a nice change of pace.

i dunno i thought the relationship aspect in here was pretty realistic - the way the relationships started seem pretty normal and even the ending/beginning of them are same ones you would normally see in a romance movie about friends. but i don't see how much potential could have been drawn out if it continued any longer than 24 episodes. especially at the point the characters are at now. anyways as for better romance drama i would still say True Tears is better than Kimikiss - i read 3 vols of the manga and i thought it was nice but it seem like a playthrough of a dating sim.

Mao's arc is the best.

Sakino's gave me tooth decay and diabetes.
Shijo's was too bland and cliched.
Futami's too much of a b!+ch, at least initially.
