First try cleaning manga

1) it's too small, it should be 1200px height - if it was photobucket who resized it and you don't know how to change it, upload to imageshack.us
2) it's too dark
3) there's still dust left

but it's not bad, try something with more greys, like this (http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/2156/17xs7.jpg)

but you should read about denoising (1 (http://www.franky-house.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144), 2 (http://www.franky-house.com/forums/showthread.php?t=557)). Without denoising, it will be very hard to get rid of the dust

it looks much better now :]
the only thing left is burning :)
select the burn tool, set it to ~30% and darken the places that should be black and aren't (it darken dark colours but doesn't change bright ones)
remember to do it while you still have big image (2000-3000px), it will be harder to overburn that way ;)

Yeah you need to find your own way of cleaning and try out different things but that's only when you find out the basics...trust me I know about that XD

I never use burn tool over 20% rarely 30% and that's if it's a realy hard raw to level

haha, my settings vary from 7% to 100% depending on the image ;) But my "default" setting is 20-40%

Well 100% is good if you're doing a huge almost completely covered black page and I go zo 4% as well:P but the best is 20-30% for me XD...I just wanted to say that I don't know how endless does it with 100% all the time ;)
