The the first page of this weeks One Piece. tips and help will be appreciated.
This is my very first time cleaning a raw page. Although I do have some photoshop experience. I would like to help out scanning things if I get enough ability in order to give back for all the leeching ;)

so give me some tips to try on my second try.
well grey's are bad and you have overleveled it, but i've seen worse first try's :D i would read some of the tutorials (do my preclean tutorial ;)) and do another page :D nothing makes you better like practicing ;)
Yeah, the same...there are no greys here! Not even a bit...they're all turned into black...try to watch it when leveling, but everything else seems OK,but put a spoiler on it next time plz :D

hmm, you should make like this [spolier=pic] not just [spoiler]
for the first one,it seems over leveled to me :p
and yeah, don't run burn tool in the gray area
and the second, you over leveled and over denoised the page
and use burn tool in black area to remove the dust :D
and make the page resolution 72, size 1200px height
i recommend you to upload in imageshack
and the most important thing, read the tutorials :D
good luck on your next page :D

i think you went wrong somewhere with the second one, i'd say the first is better, its better to underdenoise than to over, since u can just clear the dust but the blur is a bitch to clear, so go easy if at all on the denoising. the blacks should be black with no jagged edges, but i cant help u there since i dont use photoshop, although there are plenty of tutorials which can tell u how to get smooth edges.
btw one piece is easy to tell the greys they dont look like noise and sfx are usually black
