New Layout !!

Hi Everyone,

With such a fast growing forum, FH decided it was time to move some things around to help with organization and navigation.
Our plan was to better the release section for certain series and to make the release section stand out on it's own. Also, to add some other languages sub-forums to better the non-english speaking guests and members.

For this we used some "tabs" for people to navigate with.
We also opened some sub-forums to actual forums on thier own, so messages posts wouldn't go un-noticed.

This is still in the works and some permissions that were allowed in certain areas might be changed, if we missed something, feel free to let any staff know asap so we can take care of the probelm.

So be paitent with us while the changes take place. We appreciate the understanding and any suggestions will be much help.

It's much better this way Empire but I have to ask...How do I put change the skin of the site since it's tsubasa winter one for me and I went to UserCP Options and it wasn't there like it was before? Will it pop back up after forum remodeling is over or do I live with this skin? Or maybe it's in another place but I just forgot about it?...Plz help!

Right now that is the only skin available until I am able to add some tabs and link them to the other skins. Should be done within 24 hours.

The tabs that are being used, looked "fugly" on the other skins.
<---- goes back to photoshop to create some tabs.

Well seems everyone including veni likes the new layout. Guess we will keep it like this. Though, I couldnt have done anything without Kenji putting in his hard work hours and setting permissions for me and of course the special critic of mine I go to for suggestions. (ya know who you are!)
Secondly I would like to thank my fans and my lord... wait this isn't an award. ok scratch that. :p

I bumping this to comment on the 'Dark' skin. It looks weird, and many of the colours don't fit well with the background.
Borders are also needed, as it all just blends in with the background colour, so you don't know which is a link and which is not.

Light skin still looks much better and more professional. :D

Thanks for your input Gate.

I knew not everyone would enjoy or like the new layout, but it is one of the few that people can choose from. For now I have out a style chooser in the welcome box so others can choose on ther own. Once other skin is done then it will be showing and than members will have 3-4 styles to choose.
We prolly know which one you wont be using. :p

As far as the links , I made them text decorated with underline. So hope that helps.

Yeah Im working on another skin .. Gonna have plenty to choose from. :p
The silver-blue skin is having some major alignment probelms right now.
I'll have it fixed soon...

As far as the names, I think I know what happen. Ha!
If it is that, geez its gonna take some time to correct. blah!!

I like it for the most part i guess. The silver was still my favorite so i hope that gets fixed soon. Only thing is ya that Franky pic is super off, If it has to be franky pic there i can try to screencap one for him i thought you were going to switch it to the sanji pic i got before though.

My computer crashes and I use my sisters laptop and what do I see? A new layout! I actually like this new layout but I have always liked "darker" layouts. I'm not much of a light color person.

on the main screen[home page] you had the tabbed window for
art[i think]/trans/scans/something else

that thing was by far the best part of the site. made it easy for ANYONE to check whats new... esp for me for when i had to come and check for releases to approve on mu.

plz find a way to incorporate it again ^_^

I'm liking this yellow theme for the forums. Is it supposed to randomly switch themes or not? Cause when I clicked on the News/Rules/Info/Suggestions board, it switched to dark, but then when I clicked on this thread, it was back to yellow. :poke:

I'd rather you concentrated on one skin and fixed it up properly before starting on another, Mr Empire.

@ Doctah: Your cookies aren't cleared. Use the logout button to clear the cookies then log back in, that should do it.

@ matty543: Nah, not every week, dark skin is still default.....I think :p

@ Gate: Not sure what ya mean, endless and anon are for sell? If ya mention some of the probelms with these skins I have no probelm fixing them for you.

@ B-One: I found a cure . :cheer2: Using a out dated template actually fixes it, go figure.
