For anyone else that has been waiting forever for the next set of translated chapters of Burning One Man Force here is a preview (http://ravyn-09.livejournal.com/42871.html#cutid1) that was posted a few days ago by the guy who is doing the translation.

On that note, if there are any other fans of the FMP novel series that are also able to translate please let me know if you are interested. Because I'd gladly work as your English editor and turn your rough translations into releasable quality chapters.

Also if there is anyone here that would like to get their hands on some of the translated novels that cover events that have happened after the end of The Second Raid FMP anime I could easily post them up somewhere for you to download.

"A Dancing Very Merry Christmas" is an excellent action packed continuation of the series immediately following TSR material. The following novel "Continuing on my Own" will literally grip you and not let you go until you have completely finished and are left aching for more.

If you are any sort of fan of the series I highly recommend checking them out.

Tokyo Pop recently started translating and releasing the FMP Novel series, but they are only finished with the first two so far (which are covered by the first 12 episodes of the first anime series). I would like to encourage anyone who enjoys these novels to please purchase them once they are officially released.

Thanks man appreciate it. By the way which is the correct order they should be read in?

There is a "Read Me" text in the zip file that explains the order, but I will copy and paste it here.

First off to have these novels make any sense at all you must first watch the first Full Metal Panic anime series.

The correct read order is:

1) The End of Day by Day (This is novel is covered by the sequal anime series titled "The Second Raid", but it is still worth the read even if you have already watched TSR)

2) Dancing Very Merry Christmas (which niether has any dancing or is very merry)

3) Continuing on My Own (probably the most exciting, but by the time you get to here you shouldn't need any hook lines to make you want to read)

4) Burning One Man Force (This book is still in the process of being translated, but by the time you get to the end of COMO you will be fiending for more so you might as well start reading this one)

I told you the novels were crazy good! hehe... I couldn't pull myself away from the computer when I started reading Continuing On My Own. It just leaves you on the edge of your seat hanging on every word.

It's still in the process of being translated, I'll be sure to let you know when more chapters are translated.

Hi,
I just read that the person that was translating BOMF lost everything as is no longer translating...
Does anyone know if someone else is translating them?
...
I just begun learning Japanese, but does anyone know where I could get the "raw" novels (like scans, I would prefer not to buy them for the moment), I would probably take a year to finish reading a chapter, but at least I would have something to motivate me in my Jap studies lol

bye
