Adaption of the renowned visual novel by Visual Art`s/Key.

Clannad is set in a high-school located in some Japanese town. Okazaki Tomoya is a third-year student who doesn`t take his studies seriously. Always late for class, he`s seen as a delinquent by the rest of his classmates who are busy preparing for their entrance examinations. Needless to say, he hasn`t too many close friends either.

Tomoya seems not to mind too - until one day he meets a girl, Furukawa Nagisa, who is left alone without friends on this school, because everybody she knew already graduated. What a clumsy girl, he thinks at first. But he can`t leave her alone and so, while helping her, he meets a few other girls from his school. Although he doesn`t care much about them at first, he soon opens his heart to them as they get to know each other better.

I think they've started the main plot now with ep 17, Tomoya realieses that he misses nagisa, also she was the first one to come to mind and second kyou, tomoyo also joins the love pyramid.

It also seems that kyou also loves Tomoya but is holding back because of ryou. (kyou is thus also in the love pyramid.)

But further in the novel he does make up with his father thx to nagisa's words. but before that his dad also end up in jail first. Why i dont know the after stroy was only partial translated.

It is true that in one of the arc's she dies giving birth but in the true ending she survives the birth of her daugther and lives happily ever after with tomoya. if you play it you'll also understand the dreamworld sequences a bit better. Ilesyt just be sure to follow the walkthrough from the link i gave and it wil be a happy ending.

well this show didn't seem to be about romance (yes i know its there though) at the beginning - more about fixing the character's past or setting up their future. at the moment its heading in the direction of romance now, probably why i started picking specific characters as ending characters too.

300 hours? maybe if you don't use a faq or something to help you get the endings you are trying to achieve. as for other novels - i hear good things about Fate Stay Night, although i'm sure most have already gone thru that. The storyline and characters' background are great. Clannad is one level above Kanon 2006. Definitely!!

Then again, seems like I'll be disappointed with one aspect. My fav F char is Kyou >-<, that's why.

At the moment , I haven't played Fuuko, Nagisa and kotomi ending. But for the ones I've played, I liked Kyou (second place) and Tomoyo (first place) endings.

I found the koumura ending a bit lonely and also the hiiragi ending, I mean if you play the hiiragi ending right after the fuyibayashi twins path, you'll find it kind of disappointing for Tomoya as he didn't get a girlfriend and Ryou immediatly became hiiragi's girlfriend and Kyou didn't confess to Tomoya, I wish she did, then Hiiragi and Tomoya would be family xD Well not marry Kyou for the reason of becoming hiiragi's family but because I liked Kyou so much. Or if he ended up with Tomoyo while doing to hiiragi ending would also be nice , YEAH.

well the voice patch was needed because without it the translation patch would not work. And im satisfied with the voices of the other chars. usually this type of games the main has no voice. to difficult/timeconsuming with all the choices and arc's i think.

The game on itself is 2.2 GB , 1.4 GB torrent download in rar file. And the voice patch is like 1.06 GB , you can choose to install the voicepatch or not, and the translation file is 10-14MB when downloaded or something.

As far as i know those links still work. and you'll need the voicepatch for the translation patch. tried it once without voice and game would not go further than main screen.

hmm normally most romances like to stick with the first girl who makes an appearance with the lead to be with him - there are certain cases where this doesn't happen though like in Ichigo 100%. then again i dont remember if tomoya meets with nagisa first in the anime before they mention other characters like ryou and kyou.

1) Tomoya meets Nagisa as first in the game as well in the anime when he's on his way to school on april the 14th.
2) Have I already mentioned I'm tomoyo (first place) /kyou (second place) fan ?
3) Uhm I'm going to do the last arc , which is Nagisa's arc.
4) I've got a question:
I had done Kotomo's arc before doing Nagisa's and Had gotten the light from her and had 7 lights, before that arc was fuuko's arc. And while doing Nagisa's arc, kotomi's light disappeared, and I only got 6 lights now, is that OK or is there a prob somewhere ?

5) I finished all arcs, I went through all my load files and finished all the arcs again, but I didn't gain any light and only got 6 lights with the nagisa arc finished. Don't know what to do , I wanna watch the afterstory <_<

the first afterstory arc end with nagisa dying and you living alone with your daugther ushio, be sure to save on the day that ushio is born/ nagisa's death, its important and will save a lot of trouble later on. when i tried playing afterstory 3rd time something didnt go right so i redid the first arc and ended with true ending of tomoya/nagisa/ushio happy after and 100% cg. true ending you get only when you have all 13 lights they will be seen in startmenu near tree.

im playing tomoyo arc now again because according to the faq u can get sunohara's face disfigured after he gets hit alot by tomoyo.

Uhm these are the arcs which gave me lights, I think there is one more arc which gives light, but I don't know which.

Kotomi, Tomoyo, Kyou+ryou, Sunohara kyoudai, yukine, hiiragi kappei and koumura.

So I'm missing one, Nagisa doesn't give light right ?

you also get 5 lights in the first arc of afterstory its written in the faq from the link i gave you a while back. and dit you get the light for Sagare Misae you can only get it when you finished her arc first and then played tomoyo.
you know the part where Sagare Misae askes you to help her find the cat se lost at the schoolfestival.

I did everything again in this order :

Misae --> Tomoyo --> Yukine --> Ryou --> Kyou --> Kappei --> Mei Sunohara --> Ichinose --> Fuko --> Koumura --> Nagisa AND After Story and helped misae find her cat but I only got tomoyo's light

well that means you got Sagare Misae's light alright. that means you should have enough. that would mean that after the 2nd afterstory arc you should have 13 lights left of the tree in startup menu.

They might reverse time to where Nagisa will be giving birth or make an alternate ending, or considder the movie as the prologue and the serie as the true ending.

There's no way she would do that you know ? Nagisa isn't that type, and Tomoya neither. Besides they like each other too much for that to happen.

i think there are some moments with tomoya's grandparents too involved but this is all from the game.

Yeah, there are several differences between the movie and the anime and would skip some things, so you might get confused. And you should start watching the movie with the attitude that this is a new story which I haven't seen, only some scenes.

This was prolly one of the saddest animes i have ever seen and decided to download the game so i could see how it all plays out. My favs are prolly Kotomi, Fuko, Tomoyo, and Nagisa. I do have to say Nagisa family is pretty awesome.

Easy to fix, go to the language tab and check "Install files for east asian languages"

I dont think the next episode will end too sadly since not much can happen besides her getten over her current issues unless they have her get sick and die in this one ep which i doubt, but i never played the game so i wouldnt be able to predict this ep as well as some others could.

no all you need is daemon tools, it plays the file you downloaded as if you put in the real CD.

that's why the file you downloaded didn't work. It probably had the extention .iso I assume ?

to download daemon tools, just type in Daemon tools in google and you got it.

yeah its a cdi file. It should work after i finish redownloading the file in an hr.
I did look for daemon tools but it cost money unless i went with light but i just searched for a torrent for daemon tools pro tools advanced so i should be good to go.
