Collaborative Translator

I would like to apply to be a Japanese Translator for Mahou Sensei Negima, but only after I catch up with the HQ scans I proposed! I am just making this topic in advance as a heads up!

I would like to prepare 1-21 tonkoubans of this manga into quality releases. Of course, to make this seem less hectic, I will translate it chapter by chapter and compile the volumes later!

While there may be previous groups who have done this, their releases were just the tonkouban scans used with old translations...

I would like to revise these with better quality translations and grant this series the glory that God gave it.

Also, to work my keep around here, I can also provide raws where needed! Just ask, I deliver!

Yes! I will be consorting with Yami no Tenshi, the person who translated chap.202.

While he works on new releases, I plan to catch up to him via releasing HQ Tonkoubans!

I am proofreading the first few chapters right now. I should have something up within the next few days!

Providing we ACTUALLY GET STAFF TO WORK WITH HIM for the past releases... I can only wish him luck because he'll need a bucketload of luck to get a stable flow of staff working at HQ efficiency just to clear past chapters.

Yeah, I know what you mean Uranium, but if it helps even slightly, the are tonkouban raws that I will be providing, so that reduces the worries over HQ bit, but my translations may be another thing...

I have confidence in my ability to translate, but I would probably go about a third of the speed of your regulars. Even though I am in my Sophomore year of high school, I am probably taking on more than I can chew...but I still want this series to be one of the best out there, though my efforts will barely scathe the surface.

For now, I will do what I can and post whatever I accomplish, and if it isn't satisfactory enough, then I will just try again.

We can just do the chapters that weren't repackaged as HQ, Chapters 44-66 and Volumes 13-21 (Ch.110-195).

But I also wanted to improve on the earlier chapters as well and that can come later, once everything else has been taken care of. I have all tonkouban raws except 14...which is a pain in the ass to find right now.

I am still new to all this, but I am glad to be working with you all!

For now, I think it best that I remain a freelance translator...My main project will be Negima, of course, but I will hardly be able to tackle more than that.

I am just a beginning translator, but I don't want to hold you guys back any more than necessary, if at all.

I can also be a RAW provider for this and other series if necessary, just let me know what series you need and ready yourself for raw interception!

Either way, expect more Negima translations within a day or two!
