Okay, I have the latest chapters to beauty pop, It's on chinese, not really that raw, but I wonder if you can translate them for me.
B/c the Beauty pop series on one manga really isn't all that recent

yar, exactly... we re understaffed in the translation section...so basically:

a)you find trans usable by us
b)you find a willing translator
c)you convince someone ho knows chinese to start translating it
d)you learn chinese and translate it(could be long...)

it's like "no money, no candy" but more like "no trans, no scans"

Wasn't there also a condition that it wasn't being scanlated by someone else for the last 4 months? Recently there have been releases of Beauty Pop from 26 up to number 35.

I don't work for anyone yet but I've been checking out FH and it looks good.
I wouldn't mind working on something. I have weak Japanese skills (I can read hiragana and katakana) and I don't have photoshop on this computer but if there's something I can do, let me know!

Hahahaha- there is plenty you can do. Just look around here. Cleaning (check training workshop many tutorials aroun), typesetting (easiest part of cleaning- we need many typesetters now - so start from typeset practice), and you can practice translate too.

I tried translating Skip Beat 117 but I only got up to page 5 where there was a lot of writing and I had to look up every second word on the kanji dictionary server. But I'll keep trying.

Oh- we treasure tranlsators very much since there is many raw and few translators so make you try. But typesetters/cleaners we need everyday since we get like 20+ manga we do so far and some of them require mainly typesetting. Make you start soon - i wanna see what you can do. Download photoshop with keygen using torrent or send Annita PM for it (she not gonna give it to you if you not gonna be a committed FH staff by the way :D). Then start training thread in Training Workshop.

I've got photoshop on disc somewhere, so I'll put that on my (dad's) computer. I already have a program capable of typesetting so I'm ready for that, at least.

Out of curiosity, which chapters are they (since I don't know any chinese)? Is it about chapter 50?

English scans are up to 35, and I don't think we would be allowed to do the scans since there are recent scanslation releases, but I do like Beauty Pop a lot and now I know how to put the talk in text bubbles.

Although I think these also need a bit of cleaning.

These are the people who are scanslating Beauty Pop, so if you want to ask to do a joint translation to speed things up with them, I think you can get your wish (although I don't know how fast they work).

Hmmm that sucks. They put out a few working chapters and have been fixing them up pretty quickly. So you'd assume they were a more active group.

Maybe they just email each other to get their chapters done. In that case it would be better if they just had a website and not a forum.
