Soo, I thought it would be fun to aply as an editor here at Franky House. But I thought I'd come here first.
I've done some cleaning and typesetting before, but with much easier raws to work with than the ones I see here all the time (must be because the raws I used were from tankobon...).
Well, anyhow, I edited a page of One Piece (pages 4+5 chapter 482) and it turned out like this.
http://hannaisabella.diinoweb.com/files/One%20Piece%20482%2C%20p%204%2B5.jpg
(Sorry, about the size, it's superhuge O_o)
I really hope I could get some help, because I think the greys are superhard to make look good. Any criticism about anything will be great, cause I really want help ^^
You make a spoiler like this
[spoile?=]
blablabla
and then you add [/spoile?] (you put r in the ?- had to do it like this coz there's no other way to say it without making a spoiler "thingy" )
Before makhan or B-One have a chance to criticize it's very good a little bit overdenoised but still not bad. You should do a DGM or another OP coz noone got that one any better then you.
On what did you work before?

Very nice :]
A bit overdenoised and overlevelled (greys are too dark) but still very nice :)
It's good enough to be released under FH label (although still not perfect)
can you clean pages 18-19 of this chapter? They were cleaned by me in FH release and I like to compare others cleaning to mine ;] (I also cleaned p13, so you can clean it too, although it's not in FH release, I will post it here if you will clean it ;))
very nice will see u soon ;)
and welcome

Nice. For some constructive criticism, the SFX and grays seem a little more blurred. It's very possible to lower the amount of blur you put on the SFX, grays, and any art with tightly drawn strokes. But well done. Now go practice on more pages and go zoom zoom zoom. You're pretty ready.

Thanks for the criticism ^^ I will start with those pages as soon as I've fixed my computer (it's making me crazy!).
I think denoising is really hard, does anyone have any tips to make it look better (I use topas vivacity). And, also, how do I make the greys look good? I never get them right.
(I'm gonna practice a lot now ^^)
I can give you my humble advice for the greys and that would be to use a noise filter: filter>noise>dust&scratches or the same but >median-but they can darken the pic a lot,or for HQ you have a guide here (http://www.geocities.com/allaediting/greys.html)! And you should try NEAT Image for denoise.

Here's the one makhan asked for. I haven't gotten around to do page 13 yet, but I'll start with it really soon ^^

I know I've messed up the letters, maybe I'll get around to change it :p)
I've tried using Neat Image but it keep telling me to register (I know I should pay, but I don't wanna pay for it :D), anyone who knows how to get it working?

To use this guide to its full potential you'll need...
* A modern version of Adobe Photoshop. You don't NEED cs3, but it's a nice program, earlier versions will probably work as well. I don't have a tutorial for GIMP nor do I plan on one at this time.
* Neat Image, or a similar denoising program. I highly recommend this one though, and can't provide support for others... if you're looking to download it, you could accidentally click here or here.
You can also click there if you dun trust me

Hmm... There is sth wrong with this page. Overlevelled, I think...
Take a look at third panel (on the bottom, counting from the right) - grey doesn't look good there. Although your cleaning is good, there is still sth missing. Sorry can't explain it better ><
I will post my version of this page later (when AnonFH shows his :p) so you could compare them.
Ohhhh, you ment for me to do that one,I thought you ment for the DGM one...LOL. Don't worry I'll do it in the morning! ;) so you'll see
wow really nice hana-chan i really like how do u clean :D
but it need to be Rotated :D and what mak maki said :p

I've done another page. It took ages! I tried really hard to get it right, cause I did it over and over, but still it's not right! I don't know what to do...
Well here it is, I didn't typeset though cause I feel I need to practice cleaning more. And I tried Neat Image too ^^ It's was quite tricky...
Anyhow, this it what it ended up like, feel free to say whatever.

It's actually very nice :)
You can see my version of that page here (http://www.franky-house.com/forums/showpost.php?p=35002&postcount=37)
I denoised more, can't really tell which version is better, cause I got so used to neat image greys, that I'm starting to prefer them over the original ones XD (at the beginning of my cleaning career (:p) I used history brush tool to get original greys back XD)

I say the borders look a little too thick. But some people prefer thicker borders. But I see more professional cleaned pages with thinner borders. Overall, good.

I still like that page :p
Although I know there is dust, it has greys burned in few places and it's overburned XD But I like the blacks and greys :p It's a matter of taste, I guess ;)
And my post count just emphasize that I'm evil :D

I've been gone for a week now, but I've practiced lots :)
I did all the pages over again and tried to think about allthat you said. Pick a favourite ^^
OP, pages 04-04 chapter 482:
http://hannaisabella.diinoweb.com/files/OP/OP%2004-05%20resized%20copy.jpg
OP, page 13 same chapter
http://hannaisabella.diinoweb.com/files/OP/OP%2013%20resized%20copy.jpg
pages 18-19
http://hannaisabella.diinoweb.com/files/OP/OP%2018-19%20resized%20copy.jpg
And just because it was fun I did a Naruto picture too (page 13, chapter 487):

So, do you think that I'm ready to aply as a cleaner?
makhan

Still not perfect, a lot of dust, some greys not burned, maybe a bit overlevelled? Hard to judge cause I'm working on laptop, with small matrix and without the mouse >_<
So it's not enought to be FH cleaner yet, but enough to get recruit status :]
And it's a straight way to joining our official crew ;)
So keep it up :)
