Heya D.Gray-Man man fans! Christmas is right around the corner and most of us are getting out of school tomorrow! =)

It's a pity this thread looks a bit dead, I really like D.Gray-man, and though I don't like the anime much because half of it are fillers, I do follow the manga.
So, no one willing to discuss? I think it will be a fine conversation, with all the contents inside spoiler tags, because I guess the anime is drifting even further away from the great manga it is supposed to be following ¬¬
i want to read it
but i dont if it is worth it since i saw the first 13 eps it was bad :(

You saw the anime and didn't like it after the first 13 eps? You're right, you have to read the manga! That's where all the fillers start and never end, if not earlier, lol.

The anime has got a lot better now they've finally gone back to the manga storyline. The filller was just horrible esoically the last two filler arcs.:(

But what episode are they showing now? I thought the anime was supposed to last only 52 eps, so I thought it was really stupid to have all those fillers.

The anime has got a lot better now they've finally gone back to the manga storyline. The filller was just horrible esoically the last two filler arcs.:(
very true...from episode 51 i think? they went back to the storyline and i'm watching it again :P

well seems the anime deviated slightly again on episode 65....well that's to be expected :p i just hope they dont drag the filler too long...a lil filler is fine by me

Mangas are usually better then the animes anyway though the action stuff is better in anime in my opinion anyways.

Yep agreed the manga is better then the anime....I only watched the anime bcos of Lenalee and her long hair... but after reading the manga...mehhh it makes me sad.

I think he may well have faked his death but it's also possable that someone was able to kill him though I find that unlikly.

everybody know that allen is a noah to become (they know it too in the manga) but I think they will take it more seriously since the crown clown of allen can hurt him now
if youve read the newest chapter the first page with allen drinking stuff was awesome!! if mean my brother and i think thatmay be him:(do not read if you are not up-to-date!!)

on page 6 of 182 when you see the text "Can you not win Walker" i think that may be the 14th and then when he was stabbed with his own innocence he was hurt and if that damaged the noah inside him like it did with tykki and allen will awaken as a noah...

I don't think everyone saw that he momentarily transformed. That's why kanda rushed to kill the Level 4 before it recognized Allen as a Noah.
but the thing is not all of them know...and i dont think kanda knows either at the moment i think he just went and killed the noah because allen stop trying to destroy it as he got hurt...i think he destroyed it to get it over with...yea

I think they all found out that he is suspected by Central of cooperating with the 14th, right? I mean, he was detained and everything.

it managed to say "Good morning Noa-" before kanda stabbed the head
but i still think that only the higher ups and maybe(?) lenalee kno that allen is a noah...

I think that the higher ups are pretty sure he has a noah trying to take over allens body i also know that Lenalee and everyone else know that he is suspected of being "in league" with the said noah which it seems momentarily awakend as for my opinion as to weather or not kanda and the others noticed this very short awakening my opinion is no! i feel that Kanda just simply worried for Allen's life and went to get the battle over with (although he would never admit he was worried about Allen in anyway even if his life depended o it lol) :highfive:
btw my brother was telling me some spoilers for the next chapter and stuff... he there was a screenshot and showed it to me it was of allen as the the 14th(already taken over) he looked really evil... but i was rereading the manga and remember when cross said that he may have to kill some one he loves...well thats what i kinda afraid for...i dont really want allen to turn evil. the rest of that chapter from spoilers ive read said that it has to do with komui and lenalee alot im looking for the website my bro used now.

i thought that we would learn about kanda's past...but then i went back and read that it was just hints from his past...

Hoshino rushed the manga probably to create a flashy entrance and recover D.Gray Man's fanbase. You don't c me complaining, this chapter really got me exited about the next release.
yea im not really complaining about the cover page just saying that allen looks somewhat fat and kanda has curly hair...thats all.
but yes she did rush but im just so happy shes better and drawing dgm again!!

It seems like that the other Noah's already accepted Allen as "one" of them. This raised high hopes for me for the next chapter with more about the 14th.

He adresses Allen as the 14th Noah, not as a exorcist. The impression that i got was that he was excluding Allen. I felt that the picture where he was holding that crow hair, a sort of a hint in terms of: Don't let it bother you, we'll finish here soon and leave you alone.

After reading the new chapter new chapter I've come to accept that it will probably either be a frigid day in hell or another six months until we find out what happened to Kanda and how the 14th awakening will truly affect Allen. This made me cry a little bit inside.
What do you guys think of the Earl's new form? Or am I wrong and the man at the end wasn't really the Earl?

The whole thing is getting complicated cause by the introduction of noah family I guess..
I thought before Road is the oldest and noah is the earl's henchmen but I guess I'm wrong...
Never thought the earl himself is a noah...

Well it's really a waste that they just jumped to more fights instead of finishing Kanda's history but then with these things coming now...maybe we'll find out what really happened to Cross sooner or later?
