Really? I think they made the new anime too glossy-looking. The character design looks messed up compared to the first season.

I watched up to the fight with Eiji, but I much prefer the manga. ^^ ( I read up to the latest chapter, which was then 830 in three days because I was so engrossed in it. ^^)

Anyways, I think chapter 846 is awesome! It just came out on onemnaga yesterday!

haha, when I first saw that, I went O.O in my mind. ^^ It was so funny the way he literally just jumped up and almost ran away to a safe distance so that when Takamura and the rest of them realized they were there, all that was left was poor kumi left there, still in shock while ippo said hi to them, hahahaha.

Wait, I think you misunderstood something. First of all, Takamura wasn't there. You're talking about Aoki/Kimura/Itagaki, right? If that's who you meant, Ippo did not run and hide anywhere. He was busy chasing down the hill after Kumi. That's why he wasn't at the top.

Is it just me, or has the Ippo manga gotten REALLY WEIRD lately? Just look at chapter 861. Ippo's opponent is a jungle boy who is seen off the island where he lives by monkeys offering him bananas. What kinda crap is this? I mean, it made me laugh, but it's total nonsense. It's like I'm watching a bad remake of the Jungle Book.
