Talking about the other mangas you like...

Basically I wanted to agree with Rita about 1/2 Prince, because there is already a thread of Kaicho wa Maid-sama.
So I thought to post here this: talk about other manga you like and try to convince the others that they are worth a reading! ^^

Should I start with 1/2 Prince? I'm happy, finally they update it!
Does someone already know the story?
Here the summary (to lazy to write it by myself...-.-): It is the year 2100A.D. and humans have invented a virtual reality game called "Second Life". Feng Lan, due to a bet with her brother, vows to beat him in the game. Thus, she becomes the first transgendered character in "Second Life", in other words, she is the only person who is the opposite gender in the game from her real life. As her popularity rises because of her looks, skills and team mates, can she keep her identity a secret from her loved ones and friends to prevent trouble?

This is interesting...^^ My boyfriend asked my opinion about Hellsing, but I really don't know it..Usa, could you tell me something more (even if the shojo and josei section isn't right..still...)? I want to know the opinion of someone who read it...^^

Hellsing is a great series! Almost no real plotline, the characters are very deep, but... Its vampire VS nazis VS protestants VS catholics! and its got gore! :D

Im in love with the Hellsing series! Not ultimate though. Right now im reading No Bra which is funny, and Angel Sanctuary which is just amazing to me from every aspect! Go Kira! And not the one most people would think of. But Id definitely recommend Angel Sanc. good plot, character development, but on the ideological sensitivity issue hmmmmm, dudes doin his sister, but that also plays into the story. So ya.

I read it years ago, but still sometime I stole it from my boyfriend library to read it again!
Kira is one of the best, obviously! Alexiel isn't bad, too. ^^
The plot is simply amazing, like the character and the drawing itself...:Hoppity_Hop:
Here a little summary: The angel Alexiel loved God, but she rebelled against Heaven when she saw how disgracefully the other angels were behaving. She was finally captured, and as punishment sent to Earth to live an endless series of tragic lives. She now inhabits the body of Setsuna Mudo, a troubled teen in love with his sister Sara. Setsuna's misery mirrors the chaos among the angels, and their combined passions threaten to destroy both Heaven and Earth
Add to all this the Demons...And you have a beautiful art! ^^

I advise Basara: the art isn't the best, but the story is awesome!!!!.
I will try (again) Angel sanctuary, even if the first time I read it I didn't get past chapter 6....=_=...maybe it gets better later on

Basara it's about the fight between an army of rebel and an empire...the rebel-army leader is Sarasa, a girl that had taken thee spot of his dead twin brother, known as the "child of destiny" who was supposed to destroy the empire and give freedom to the poor people; the principal enemy is the red king, one of the four sons of the emperor and the ruler of the part of the country where Sarasa was born and raised...the manga is about the civil war between the empire and the rebel army, love and frienship...there are a lot of character developed in a very deep and original way...
I don't know why I stopped angel sanctuary at chapter six, I must try it again, I want to trust in my beloved sis in comics judgement ^^

I found a manga and fantasy store here in sweden and was really happy. I felt my mangaobseession and bought a book. Chrno crusade #1. I read it and liked it. Borrowed the rest from a library and got stuck. I almost cried my eyes out. It was a such a sad and bittersweet story. I reccomend!!

I'm a huge fan of Skip Beat, but I think you can see that from my avatar.

I'm also a fan of 1/2 Prince, even though I think it's a bit immature, I still like it!:)
