Here's an interesting question that a few of the many voices in my head have been arguing about for some time now: Are "Outer" Moka and "Inner" Moka two separate people living within the same sexy body, or does our fair Moka just have severe Multi-Personality Disorder? Or is "Outer" Moka just a facade brought on by the Rosary, and actually just an extremely attractive illusion?

My theory is constantly changing with new chapters, so I'd like to hear the input of some other people who aren't me. At the moment, I am actually under the impression that they two entirely separate people; this was influenced greatly by what is, at the time of writing, the latest released chapter, Chapter 24.

If you will:

This selection portrays Inner Moka and Outer Moka not only thinking separately, but even interacting with each other. This is pretty strong stuff...of course, maybe the mangaka hasn't even decided yet!

Anyway, opinions! On the floor, now! I'm going for a total war between AT LEAST two parties, here!

Its not the first time the two Moka's talk to eachother, it happened the first time way back in chapter 2 and a few times after that. She does seem to have a severe case of split personality, but I wouldnt get too hung up on it as its a bit of magic involved after all. Its supposedly not that strange for split personalities being able to 'talk' to eachother. Inner Moka has gotten a bit envious of Other Moka a few times too.

But we have actualy seen quite a bit of development for Moka in the later chapters. Inner Moka helped Other Moka with making the lunchbox wich after all means that she approved of Other Moka getting closer to Tsukune. Moka was even looking forward to feeding Tsukune the food. And in the chapter before so did Inner Moka pretty much admit that she wanted Tsukune for herself. So we are getting some development between Moka and Tsukune, its just hidden in sidestory chapters.

I've noticed this. I just prefer to believe that Other Moka is a person in her own right as oppose to being just an illusion.

I still belive that Inner and Outter are just opposite sides of the same personallity, and that if she never had the rosario put on she would be much the same as she is now... Minus different sides talking to each other...

You do realise that if anyone was an 'illusion' it'd be the outer moka? Inner moka is the "real" moka and 'outer moka' existed only because moka went to the human world.

i wouldn't call them separate people as they share the same body and memories, outer moka is just a second personality.... well at least thats what i think...

Yes, I realize this. Learn to read.

Despite what she was originally intended to be, I think the Outer Moka has developed her own thoughts and feelings making her an individual. She has also connected to Inner Moka more and possibly the two have rubbed off on one another. Outer Moka realises the dangers involved with Tsukune far more whereas Inner Moka has loosened up alot more and has become open to the idea of being with a human.

LOL its funny it me that you said that because what you exactly said is from the manga chapters.

and besides all of you that read the manga should know that she is a illusion it was said by inner moka and by the other 2 sisters.

That could be simply what Kokoa and Kuhlhua (pardon the likely misspelling, I dont feel like checking it now) feel is correct. I tend to get the feeling that they either dont fully understand or are jeolous that Inner Moka would allow her "Outer" self to live their social life. In the end I am convinced that the mangaka makes the subject purposely ambiguous, to add tension and reader interest.

I myself don't really care either way. To me, even if they are "Two sides of the same coin," (pardon the expression) Omote Moka and Ura Moka will always be seperate in my mind. ;) :D
